Changelogs
Version 2.0
Removed all form and master references from the .json file, which has the effect of enabling the animations on custom weapons without the need for patching
The TTW Patch is no longer needed
The bugs from 1.4 still persist, however
Version 1.4
Fixed an issue where laser weapons (most notably TTW ones or any ones that added iron sights to laser weapons) didn't use the new animations (special thanks to zelptheking for the help in identifying the issue)
If you have TTW, you will need to uninstall the patch, update the main file, then reinstall the patch
Version 1.3
TTW Patch: Fixed a syntax error that definitely kept the whole mod from working
TTW Patch: It appears that TTW changes some form IDs around between 3 and NV, so as sort of a blanket-fix, I added new entries for both .esm files that should get any overlaps and loose ends. This has been confirmed to be working by me after some testing. However, more edits may be done in the future as problems come up, but for now I'm just going to assume it works for the most part
Version 1.2
Fixed misplaced file structure that most likely resulted in the mod not working for a lot of people. TTW patch should work now as well
Version 1.1
removed the attempted fix for the .44 magnum in the .json file since it didn't work
The original mod is not required. All credit goes to Hitman47101 for his work on the original mod. This mod was modified and reuploaded under the permission rules on the original page, which states that I'm allowed to modify and reupload the mod and its assets as long as credit is given.
This mod converts Iron Sights Recoil Animations by Hitman47101 to work via kNVSE/ISControl Enabler instead of the old replacement method. This means you shouldn't have to make patches for your weapon mesh mods anymore (I.E. WMX, which is what this mod was tested with). I made this out of sheer curiosity, as I used to use this mod but stopped at some point due to compatibility issues. Given the dynamic nature of kNVSE and ISControl Enabler, which have been released since I stopped using it, I gave it a shot to get these working again with these new frameworks.
If you find any bugs, please report them here. While I may not know exactly how to fix them, I'd like to see if this mod works just as well with WMX as with other vanilla mesh replacement mods. Therefore, I also consider this mod to be in beta, as I'm new to this framework and unsure if other mods similar to WMX work just as well or at all.
Most vanilla weapons are supported (see known issues), as well as DLC weapons. I've also added support for the Weathered 10mm Pistol that WMX gives you since it needs to swap it out.
Known issues: -The .44 magnum animations don't work if you use WMX. Sincerely don't know why, as the Mysterious Magnum works. Both seem to work if you use WMIM, from what I've been told. -The Alien Blaster's animations work, but are very broken somehow. It'll be off-center when aiming, but center itself when firing. -For whatever reason, the mod will not work the first time when a new game is started, and possibly not the first load after installing. Saving and restarting the game seems to fix it.
