Description

What this mod does can not really be seen easily in image format, check the video section or try the mod out for yourself.

When you fire a weapon while aiming with true iron sights enabled there is no muzzle flip, kick back or recoil any kind, this is because the camera is locked to the gun and while this can not be fixed properly, I came up with a workaround a few years ago to "unlock" the camera from the gun and allow for proper firing animations, Asurah's Reanimation Pack uses the same technique.

However until recently the idea was not viable due to the tremendous amount of tedious and time consuming manual patching required to get the system to work with mod added weapons, this is no longer the case thanks to the genius of Zilav who has kindly provided a tool to automate the patching process, as a result I was able to reduce a weeks worth of work down to seconds, this mod is the result. 

Weapons will now kick back, muzzles will now rise and overall the firing animations should feel and look much better, as a bonus since I've used the fixed TTW vanilla anims as base, if a weapon mod is not supported by this mod currently nothing will break and you can continue using it without issues.

I recommend using a recoil mod alongside this, such as Real Recoil by DeusGladiorum, but it's not a strict requirement.

Me: This mod is incompatible with the following animation mods:

Weapon Animation Replacer WAR (Only partially incompatible, don't install any of its 1st person anims and you're good to go.)

Any weapon mod I don't support will not benefit from the effects that this mod brings, but nothing will break and they will continue to function as they do normally.

Someone: Why did you make this mod?

Me: I wanted better firing animations while aiming and thanks to Zilav I can do that and eliminate the compatibility nightmare that comes with it. 

Someone: Why not use an existing animation mod like everyone else?

Me: I don't like any of them.

Someone: Even yours?

Me: Especially mine.

Someone: Will you add support to "insert random weapon mod"?

Me: Probably not, I'll only offer support for mods that A: allow for patches to be made, and B: I like the mod myself. But there's no harm in asking, I'll try to get to the big ones at least.

Installation:

Installs like any other mod, manually or using a mod manager, I recommend the later for easy uninstallation.

This mod is dedicated to the animators at Obsidian during FNVs development, from what I can tell from the anims, they never intended for the iron sights system to be so bad in this game, but they had to settle with it in the end.
