Sorry for confusion to MO2 users. Place my patched anims lower in the left hand panel that has priority list not higher. For example
mod name priority 360 movement 7(numbers are just example. It can vary depending on users mods list) NV Compatibility Skeleton 8 360 movement frozen feminine movement 9
I thought this mod would be very helpful but I can't seem to get it to work right. I'm using MO2. 360 movement and BnB don't work together - every time I go into 3rd person view I get the message pop-up saying NV compatibility skeleton is required even though I already have it installed. Load order doesn't matter, they simply won't go. So I figured if I download and install your mod I'd finally be able to use both at the same time but I'm still getting that pop-up. Before, after, in the middle, no matter where I put it, it doesn't seem to do anything. It does say that it's overriding things but it's not making them work together in-game. I'm sure I'm overlooking something very obvious here but if you could tell me when I'm doing wrong I'd be so grateful.
Yes it does work. I test every one of my patches in game before uploading. This is a common mistake among 360 movement mod users. You ought to delete the skeleton that comes pre packaged with 360 movement and any other skeletons that are in data\meshes\character\_male so the game reads the nv compatibility skeleton without potential conflicts. You could also try installing one of the optional file versions of nv compatibility skeleton instead of the main file installer.
Sorry to hijack this but is there a mod for running. My sneak, jump, and walk are superb now but running seems unaffected by bnb. Thanks for your work! Makes this old game so much better!
If you are your using the 360 bnb patch then then it should work with running and the other anims I patched. I tested it again and works on my end. If you want to see which packs have running anims click preview file contents and look for mtfast anims like mtfastleft.kf,mtfastright.kf, ect. You can also check the description of original mod page.
Appreciate the reply. Not sure what is getting in the way since this is pretty much at the bottom of my load order just above my skeleton. I must have another animation getting in the way then. I will try to hunt it down. Really odd too, I just noticed that when I leave the alternate start area my jump stops bnb'ing as well but the walk and sneak still work. SUPER ODD. Its probably something dumb on my end. Do you mind me asking what your load order looks like to get the bnb working smooth on all animations?
EDIT: I think I found it. I think Another Millenia is taking priority over this mod. Not sure what to do about that other than mess with the load order. Im kind of a newb.
EDIT: I dont think its Another Millenia. Another Millenia uses custom run animations for some larger guns. They seem to work separate. I am going to see if I can replace the mtfast that appear to be vanilla manually maybe...
EDIT: I have no idea whats going on. Walk and sneak are superb chefs kiss bnb but jumping bnb only works in alternate start area and running and sprinting doesnt bnb. Should this be high in the load order or at the bottom? I been trying to shoot for the bottom of my load order but maybe it should be at the top?
My patched anims need to overwrite all other conflicting anims so put them above all other conflicting anims . Just so you know, when you have conflicting mods, whatever is at the top of the load order is what will appear in game. So when you have patch mods like this, always make sure they are at the top of load order or at least above all conflicting files to make sure they work as intended. Btw there is no such thing as sprinting bnb. No one has made bnb anims for any of the sprint mods
Of course nobody has made a sprint animation! That makes so much sense! It would be alot to... animate. But now I am confused on load orders lol. So I am supposed to put my compatibility skeleton at the very bottom of the load order and I thought the instructions on that were to ensure it overwrites everything loading ahead of it. And I have been loading patches below their main mods due to this train of thought! I need to research this more. I appreciate your work. My 360 walk is lookin like skyrim rn and its fabulous thanks to you! :D
edit: I just ran a test with a skin and when I put the skin below the other skin it overwrites and when I put it above in MO2 it does not so I think patches are supposed to go below below (priority wise). I am either super confused now or I have figured it out which is even more confusing than if I was just super confused... :)
Ah my mistake. I saw a video on how mo2 organizes mods since I don't use it. I use vortex which has a simple manage conflicts tab to see which mod has priority. Yeah make sure on the left hand panel my anims and NV compatibility skeleton are lower in the list of mods than 360 movement and other anims. For example it could look like this mod name priority 360 movement 25(or whatever priority number it is on your end) NV Compatibility Skeleton 26 Whatever other anims you use 27 360 movement bnb animations 28 I saw video titled Load Order & mod priority explained skyrim guide 2022 by ADHDecent. The tutorial should work for fallout too.
Holy crap that makes so much sense! I was loading my skeleton completely last but having the patches below the skeleton make sense! Ill try it now! You da best!
Edit: So in this scenario bnb install would go above 360 movement but essentially patches for it would drop below the skeleton? Fantastic sticky addition btw. :D
Is there no weapon-out run animation? The holstered weapon run/walk animations work fine, but no change to weapon-out run animation. At least, for a one handed weapon (pistol).
This mod is working right for me for most of the anim but the bnb on all the standing jump and the running two handed weapons don't work. It weird because all of the couching bnb work but the running is just dead.
It does work on my end. Check your load order. Make sure all my anims are overwriting the anims that come pre packed with the 360 movement mod and any other anim mods that conflict with my patched anims.
The 360 movement mod by g0kur is required since this mod only includes animations and not the 360 movement esp. Make sure whatever animation pack you choose to install is higher in load order than the 360 movement mod so these animations override the default ones.
