I always got annoyed how the Stealth Suit Mk II used all of my Stimpaks in one fight, as well as keeps the user infinite alive, as long as there is Stimpaks in the inventory. So I decided to reblances it, and make the way it works more interesting, by adding more injectable consumables.

Description

This is a mod I have been working on for my own use but decided to release it in case others was interested in it. It rebalances the AI for the Stealth Suit Mk II to be able to inject more consumables, as well as only using one Stimpak type per combat sequence. It also rebalances when things are injected. The new consumables as well as when is as follows:

  • Normal Stimpak at 50% HP. (Nothing new here. But will now apply the full Stimpak effect that stacks with ones medicine skill/perks. Only one can be auto-injected doing combat).
  • Super Stimpak at 40% HP. (Uses a Super Stimpak at 40% HP. Only one can be auto-injected doing combat).
  • Buffout at 30% HP. (Uses Buffout at 30% HP).
  • Med-X at 30% HP, and limbs broken. (Med-X will now be used at 30% HP. And only inject one if any of your limbs breaks doing combat. AKA. reaches 0% condition. It will also now give you a chance to be addicted when used. I know some will find this annoying. But I just just find it more realistic).
  • Battle Brew at 20% HP. (Uses a Battle Brew at 20% HP if any is had, which gives 35% extra damage resistance, and some HP. They are pretty rare so the suit will only use them as a last desperate attempt to keep the user alive. It makes sense that the Stealth Suit is able to use them, considering they were developed in the X-13 research facility, - the same place at the suit itself).
  • Slasher at 20% HP. (Uses Slasher at 20% HP, which gives 15% extra damage resistance. They are pretty rare so the suit will only use them as a last desperate attempt to keep the user alive. Only works if one have not already taken Psycho).
  • Turbo at 20% HP. (Uses Turbo at 20% HP, that slows down time, - gives you more time to survive).
  • Antivenom when poisoned. (Uses Antivenom if poisoned by creatures. It will keep injecting every time one is poisoned during combat, as I don't see it as being as unbalanced as being kept infinite alive by Stimpaks).

Things to know:


The suit will only inject one of each Stimpak type doing combat. After that one must leave combat, and go back before the suit will do it again.

Battle Brew, Slasher and Med-X all stacks, so if all are used, one will end up having 85% damage resistance. At this point you will basically be a walking brick in a stealth suit.

This mod also fixes the sneak speed multiplier bug, where you don't get extra sneak speed after completing the stealth tests in the X-13 facility. I know other mods have done this, but it doesn't hurt to add it as well, just in case. (It will not conflict with other mods doing this, only overwrite their settings with mine).

Some hardcore lore-lovers will probably say: "Buuut some of these things are not injectable, they are pills and alcohol!" Yeah, well, I don't care.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

Optional file

I have added an optional file, that brings back the old mechanics where Stimpaks are given infinite in combat. It pretty much makes you invisible, when you get full effect Stimpaks, especially now where Super Stimpaks is also applied. Use this if you want to wrestle a Deathclaw Alpha Male, or a like, in a stealth armor. At this point I would rather use a power armor anyway, LOL.

Compatibility

Should be compatible with all mods that don't change the Stealth Suit Mk II script.

If you use this mod with YUP, this will overwrite the settings it makes to the Stealth Suit Mk II script. The mod will work fine with it though, I use YUP myself. Just make sure this is loaded after it.
