    Seems like the beverages, such as Sunset SS or Nuka Cola still have the healing effect. Are they also in the list of 'healing item', such as bloodpacks?

      Sounds weird. You may have a conflicting mod.

      What kind of mod would make something like that to happen? I wouldn't suspect a simple stat edit for ingestible would be the cause of it.

      Found out what was causing this issue; if the ingestible does not have 'Food Item' flag on its Effect Data, the healing effect persist even with this mod.

      Is there a way to remove healing effect from Nuka Cola and Sunset SS? Either with this mod (adding to ini maybe?) or some other? I haven't been able to find a solution yet.

    Hello! I apologize I lack the proper brain cells, but I keep trying to exclude healing powder, bitter drink, etc so they can heal again but after editing the ini, they still don't heal in game, is there something else i'm missing?

      They are already excluded by default, nothing to change from the ini file. Compatibility issue I guess or mod is not properly installed. I just tested.

    In case you want the drinkables to heal, I'll save you a little time. (please let me know if I'm missing any items or in jsawyer) copy the following to the bottom of the ini :

    WaterUnpurified= 1
    MS05IceNukaCola=1
    IrradiatedSSBottleFull=1
    IrradiatedWaterUnpurified=1
    NukaCola=1
    NVNukaColaQuartz=1
    NVNukaColaVictory=1
    WaterPurified=1
    SSBottleFull=1
    NVDLC02BlackCoffee=1

    In case you were wondering, Them's Good Eatin perk items are not affected by this mod.

      in a similar spirit here is all food whose healing effect lasts 30 or more:

      CookCooksFiendStew=1
      FireAntFricassee=1
      GeckoKebab=1
      NVGrilledMantis=1
      MoleRatStew=1
      PrimmSpicyCasserole=1
      WastelandOmeletNV=1
      In addition, here is all the food that (in my opinion) due to its difficult composition should prove healing:

      BloatflySlider=1
      CaravanLunch=1
      TrailMix=1
      DesertSalad=1
      MushroomCloud=1
      NVBrahminWellington=1

    I've thought about this before and I think my ideal system would be one where being properly fed or hydrated gives you a buff to your heal rate/action point regen that lasts a lot longer than in vanilla (strong enough that if you go without you feel that you aren't as effective), like multiple hours till you would be hungry for your next meal. And being hungry or thirsty would "burn" your maximum health and action points, meaning that even if you healed you wouldn't be "at your best". I like to roleplay taking the time to get a good rest and have a meal a few times a day and rehydrate after a lot of exertion, but the effects in game last such a short time.

    But that sounds like a complete overhaul of the way most ingestibles work ;)
