Great animation, I'm just having a problem with this and the laser pistol animation where the laser/plasma blot will fire a little bit to the bottom right of the screen, causing me to miss many of my shots. I have eve installed and its patch for both weapon animations.
Yep, it's pretty damn good - fits the lower cost nature of the weapon compared to the fast firing Plasma Defender, along with a slower reload animation if I use Hitman's Defender release. Also, no brief weapon float after exiting iron sights mode right after firing. That's why I'm looking forward to see your Plasma rifle rendition.
After using your FNV Clean Animation Sets, I cannot go back to anything else. This is my favorite animation in the entire game now. I'm also a big fan of the shock rifle reload animation from halo infinite. Using similar principles for the plasma pistol was nothing short of genius. Quick question as I saw some conflicting comments throughout the posts of your recent animations. I saw you mentioned you were planning to run through all of the vanilla weapons and give them the "set" treatment. This got me super excited. To have all the vanilla weapons each be given their own specific mod file with animations as good as these is incredible, as it would be much easier for people to simply remove a single weapon's animation if they aren't a fan of just one animation, where as this becomes a little more difficult when all the anims are packaged together. But I recently saw another comment from you saying that you only plan on finishing a few weapons you had already started than wanted to start working on the guns in Fallout 3. So I guess i'm just wondering whether we can expect to see all the vanilla weapons be given this treatment at some point. The plasma rifle variants would be amazing specifically, just to get rid of the nasty anti-quick scope visual glitch.
Hey, thanks for the compliment. Always nice to see that the hard work is being appreciated. And yeah, I was pretty pleased with how well the Shock Rifle reload ideas translated to the Plasma Pistol. Actually makes the gun feel cool, now, instead of oddly wimpy.
To answer your other question: basically, I don't have any real interest in New Vegas anymore, outside of its ability to let me play Fallout 3 (TTW) with fancy animations (which I've honestly always wanted). So, I've decided to only cover TTW weapons that show up in FO3's game world from here on out. Before I decided to do this, I had started sets for the Service Rifle and Caravan Shotgun, so you'll see those released sometime (frankly they're basically done, just gotta fix some stuff that I'm too lazy to do). But, yes, I'm basically only going to cover FO3 weapons + NV weapons that show up in the Capital Wasteland (some playtesting and talking with one of the devs has given me a fair list).
It'd be dope to cover every single weapon but, to be honest, I already have one full-time job. The good news is that a fair amount of NV weapons find their way into FO3 via TTW--the Plasma Rifles will all be covered, once I figure out a way to make them look cool (the mesh is rather restrictive in that regard).
A small list of NV weapons that will for sure get covered due their inclusion in FO3/TTW: .22 SMG Grenade Rifle Automatic Rifle .45 Pistol .45 SMG
Also, just for a little more communication with everyone: Laser Rifle Assault Rifle .45 Pistol Will all be released soon. :)
don't care + didn't ask + cry about it + stay mad + get real + L + mald seethe cope harder + hoes mad + basic + skill issue + ratio + you fell off + the audacity + triggered + any askers + redpilled + get a life + ok and? + cringe + you're white + touch grass + donowalled + not based + your're a (insert stereotype) + not funny didn't laugh + you're* + grammar issue + go outside + get good + reported + ad hominem
Lookin good! If you were ever interesting in tying a weapon's native glow (any glowy bits on vanilla models) into the anims (like powering up/down on equip/holster, or a flicker when fired, a ramp up after reload, etc) and weren't sure how to do that, just drop me a line.

As before, all comments about plasma weapons not having and/or having recoil will be summarily ignored.
That's all. If you have any feedback, criticism, or other questions, let me know here! Otherwise, enjoy! :)
Cheers!
