Description
This enables the genericplayer_death_voices for PlayerVoiceFemale and PlayerVoiceMale so your character will now scream/groan when they die.
I've made also the death scene to be realtime so the sounds aren't in slow motion.
Compatibility
- This mod is compatible with all death music replacer, as the death scream(s) actually comes from Courier Six, hence
the different sounds.
- This mod is compatible with Courier Six's voice replacement mods.
- May not be compatible with mods that alter Courier Six's dialogue files.
Bugs/issues
- There's a bug where the player character doesn't do damage grunts in combat and becomes silent, this includes the death voice. This is fixed by the mod "JIP LN NVSE Plugin"
- In the Fallout 3 version of this mod, the player character let out death scream/groan even though the head has been blasted/decapitated. I've tested and it's the same for New Vegas. Haven't found a fix to it.
Notes
So after playing FNV for awhile with this mod, I can say that:
- Even with "JIP LN NVSE Plugin" installed, the Courier still doesn't always utter damage grunts and the death sound, notably on some combats. But if you wish to test this mod right away, just kill your character via "kill" on console command, or death by falling, or grenade suicide. This is then fixed by "Immersive Hit Reactions" mod via toggling the hit reaction for the player
- Due to the realtime death aspect of this mod, I noticed that the player death reload time is a tiny bit faster than vanilla. I personally prefer it this way :)
