Description, from Wikipedia:
The Krag–Jørgensen is a repeating bolt-action rifle designed by the Norwegians Ole Herman Johannes Krag and Erik Jørgensen in the late 19th century. It was adopted as a standard arm by Norway, Denmark, and the United States. About 300 were delivered to Boer forces of the South African Republic.
This mod adds the rifle to the world of New Vegas. It has scripted form list and leveled list integration, and should appear around the same time Tier 4 guns appear. The weapon does slightly more damage than the vanilla Hunting Rifle, and is more reliable on top of being slightly more expensive to acquire. Uses vanilla Hunting Rifle mods (the extended mag adds a bayonet and im too lazy to create my own lol) and .308 ammo for maximum vanilla compatibility. Has an optional kNVSE patch for use with Hitman's Season 1 animations.
Oh, and there's a more damaging unique variant called Old Glory in the NCR Safehouse. It should be in the room with the beds.
ISSUES:
- Animations don't line up with the bolt!: I know. I'm aware. It's animation-related, and I don't have animating experience.
- The Krag isn't mag-fed!: I know, I know. Like I said, I can't animate if my life depended on it, so deal with the mag-fed animation instead. If you can stand Vanguard having drum mag Garands, you can stand a Krag having a magazine.
INSTALL:
1. Drag and drop the contents of Main File into your Data Folder. Activate with preferred mod manager.
2. (OPTIONAL) If using the kNVSE patch, just drop the contents of the Optional folder into your Data folder.
3. (OPTIONAL) If using B42 Descriptions, do the same as the other two steps above.
