About this mod

Simply fixes the incorrect date given for the copyright of RobCo Industries' Termlink, which is an issue originally from Fallout 3.

According to RobCo Termlink in Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, the boot agent was copyrighted by RobCo Ind. in 2201 and expired in 2203. This is improbable, due to the fact that RobCo Industies or any sort of legal system necessary to patent something did not exist 124 years after the Great War.

For some bizarre reason, when you enter the hacking mini-game, the terminal says that its protocols were copyrighted by Robco in 2201 and expire in 2203 - which makes absolutely no sense, since the Great War happened in 2075. We know from other terminal protocols that the correct time-frame should refer to a start date in 2075 and that the expiry date should be in 2077.

Now the terminal should correctly read "Copyright 2075-2077 Robco Ind."  instead of "Copyright 2201-2203 Robco Ind."

I noticed this glitch almost immediately after playing this game for the first time over 8 years ago, but only since installing YUP and other similar mods did I notice that this glitch still hasn't been addressed yet. So... I decided to fix it myself. It turns out to be a very, very simple fix.

Why is the correct copyright period from between 2075 to 2077, you may ask?

*ahem*

According to the wiki:

The UOS was published and copyrighted by RobCo Industries in 2075 with an expiration date in 2077.

Proof of this is in the game too, and you can read the correct dates on most terminals in the 'System Header.'

Compatibility:
- Probably everything, since this mod only touches one record which I'm almost certain is untouched by any mod ever published on this site :P

Installation:
- Simply drag and drop or extract the plugin to your Fallout New Vegas Data directory and enable it.
