I can understand the ttw placements obviously need ttw but why the main esp also needs it ? I really like the golden black retex too btw too beautiful to walk past this mod
Yo, what's your method of porting new models into the ancient 2010 game? I tried using Blender 2.93 with niftool but I have no clue how to export it. And I have no clue how to import the model into 2.49b without the whole thing disappearing.
You need 2.49b with the NifTools plugin and Python 2.6. I've used that setup forever and it's what I still use for modeling. You need the python scripts for proper importing and exporting functionality, I think
The problem is, how can I import new model into the old blender 2.49b? I got a MAC-10 model from sketchfab and then separated and shortened the mag, charging handle and trigger so it can use the pistol animation with 2.93, now how do I import it to 2.49b so I can export it as a .nif file?
i used 3dsmax 2015 with the niftools plugin, what i do is line it up with an imported vanilla weapon, export it as a nif then copy the trishape data onto copy pasted blocks then set up texture paths. doesnt take super long either
That's how I do it too when I fumble around with Millenia's weapons, like switching the mags and changing the nodes, I know how to use Nifskope. My problem right now is that I don't know how to (im)port new meshes (like, post 2019 assets) into the ancient 2.49b. 2.49b doesn't accept .fbx mesh formats. 2.93 can but I don't know how to use the niftools for that version, the instructions (if there are any) are very vague and the latest tutorial I can find on youtube is from last year.
if you use the greyhound tool you can export the assets from the game while its running. i have a bunch of the file names for certain weapons listed here https://pastebin.com/W4pKpDY0 . that way you can export them as OBJ files
