Wrote under another mod of yours that manual installation made animation work, however for this one that didn't work out. Any idea? ArchiveInvalidation ftw, except default one in vortex doesn't work and AIGenerator causes white screen bug I can't yet fix
in that one carbon took the assets from Fallout new Vegas base game that had the animations and put them back into NV, which was inspired by the fact the animations existed in early versions of FNV and appeared in lonesome road, hence the restored in the title. the reason I created this is because some people have issues with the ones from the DLC, if you actually read the top comment on the restored mod you can see the problem.
yeah these are just for people that had issues with the restored mod, someone from my group was talking about it and I said I would create them using my animation method to hopefully fix the issue. not sure if its a common issue or isolated. but hopefully people who had the issues can use my mod as a "fix" .
@Ashens2014 A small correction: i didn't used any Lonesome Road assets, i said animated geometry present in LR dlc. Those meshes in the mod are from the base New Vegas game.
Trying to sort out why those vanilla animations cause issues (I'm one of the victims) was somewhere on my backburner. But honestly, it might be biting off more than I can chew. After all, Obsidian themselves evidently gave up on them.
Yeah I was thinking about looking into it as well, but I just thought it was quicker and easier to remake them with my style than to attempt to fix them through trial and error
