This mod replaces the T-51's models and textures with new ones. It started out as a simple test thing to see if the lackluster environment mapping in Gamebryo could be used to achieve a decent metallic effect, and since it worked pretty well, I decided to make an actual mod out of it.
A Pipboy remover mod is recommended, but not required. The left arm looks rather thin without the armor and glove, though.

The body textures are 4k and the helmet is 2k, but I'll probably make a lower resolution version as well.

Enable archive invalidation if the models aren't getting replaced properly.

If you're an ENBSeries user and you use the dynamic shadows effect or have radically modified lighting, the armor may look different compared to the pictures. This is because the armor makes use of environment mapping to produce a reflective metal effect, and the intensity of environment mapping is dependent on lighting. ENB's dynamic shadows for example make the metallic parts of the armor look extremely dark when they're under a shadow, because the shadow effect doesn't take environment mapping into account. None of this matters unless you use the dynamic shadows, but I figured I'd put it here as a disclaimer just in case.

Changelog:

1.1
- Minor overhaul of the armor textures to make it look more convincingly metallic.
- Made the armor look shinier.

1.2
- Made the environment map rougher to get rid of the excessively chrome look.
- Adjusted the specular maps slightly.

1.3
- Gave the textures a more steel-like appearance inspired by Fallout 4, changed the green paint tone a bit to look more vibrant and match the color in F3's and 4's T-51 and also made the BoS logo brighter to match the default FNV T-51 and to make it more visible with the new textures.
- Made the pelvis armor more rigid with the rest of the body.

1.4
- Made all non-metallic parts of the armor darker.
- Made the helmet hoses smoother.
- Fixed some glaring issues with the gloves so that they look better in first person.
- Made the leather neck piece look worn out.
- Added an optional TTW compatibility file with a Winterized T-51.
