"I see you have an eye for things. Gun's not just about shootin'. It's about reloadin'. You know what I'm talkin' about." — some Spanish merchant, probably.
The first-time installation was a bit finicky: it failed to recognize thesomeguyseries.esm and somehow shut down "NVB immersive start' mod. It turned out, however, that the problem was with my mods somehow not working properly, and it went away after I reinstalled them. So far so good.
As I've probably said somewhere else, this is as good as it can get without a complete animation overhaul. Even though jamming the cylinder right through the axis pin looks a bit jarring, it's many, many times better than the .44 reload animation previously used with the gun. An improvement much needed, and an endorsement well earned.
Also, I'd like to congratulate you on the fine choice you've made naming this mod.
Thank you! Hm sounded like a conflict, if you want to just use the mesh edit, delete my esp, go in to your NVB 1 esp with Xedit and change the reload to ReloadM and the fire anim to Attack5, conflicts solved! I uploaded it with an ESP for ease of use for people who don't use xedit.
Yeah the axispin is a bit jarring, however it's movable unlike the loading lever which is attatched to the barrel. If I want to do a complete overhaul I'll need to cut the mesh up.
The animation seems to work, but the hammer does not move when cocked, and the cylinder doesn't get pulled out, I have no conflicts and have all required files, what am I doing wrong?
Seems this doesn't work with NVB LE. That mod uses an esm whereas this one is seemingly meant to overwrite an esp, so I end up with NewVegasBounties.esm and NewVegasBounties.esp in my load order when using the two mods.
I'm hesitant to just change the extention to a .esm in FNVEdit because it looks like it has more than just things relating to Sweet Revenge, and I don't want to overwrite LE's changes.
Hi, can you also do the same with Marko's revolver the Old Scratch? The Old Scratch also look similar to Sweet Revenge would be amazing if you can apply this reload anims for it
awesome mod! if it isn't a bother though, can you make a guide on how to do this? (like changing the reload animation and attack animation with FNVEdit and editing the meshes with NIFSkope)
Looking good! I'm looking forward to Old Scratch and the Pocket Colt too. One thing I've noticed: Sometimes while moving, shooting, or reloading, I see part of my character block some of my screen. I'm using Enhanced Camera and FOV Slider. Figured that might be part of it. Played with the Slider with no change so far. Also, it didn't happen as often with some armors/ clothing like the Riot Gear and Dusters. I use the Ranger Red Scarf outfit for this build mostly and it's prominent with that. Not sure what it is, but this is still one bad ass little mod I never knew I needed. Thanks
Thanks, it gladdens me that people enjoy this little edit!
Hmm, that sounds like FOV Slider problems, I know I had the same issue (And still do to some degree). The best advice I can give is continue fiddle with the FOV.
been dealing with this issue with some other armor mods, including vanilla armors like Daniel's outfit, not sure what it is but I'm 100% it's not this mod causing it, played for a bit without Enhanced Camera and with it installed and both had the same issue so it might just be a weird New Vegas thing
