If you see a message saying "TTW 3.3 and Weapon Mods Expanded are not compatible. Please remove one before continuing." even with this patch installed, it's because you have "Classic Fallout Weapons Remastered" installed, the message is coming from that mod, not TTW or WMX.
Idk where to ask this, so Imma just throw it out there.
As far as I know I don't have TTW 3.3 installed, I don't recall downloading the update, as I decided to stick with 3.2 for now. But EVERY TIME I load up the game, there is a popup that says "TTW 3.3 and Weapon Mods Expanded are not compatible. Please remove one before continuing."
Given that I'm 95% sure that I have 3.2 installed and not 3.3, I have no idea what is causing this popup. Even with this patch it persists, it's gotten VERY annoying. Any ideas what's causing this?
True, but you could've been more polite about saying that. I've already spent so much time looking for literally anything about this problem with nothing to show for it, that I wasn't expecting to find a solution here. After all, this is the *compatibility patch for the mods*, why the hell would it tell me the mods were incompatible, and to disable one?
I don't owe you anything lol, I'm providing you with a free mod. From what I've been told, the message is from the "Classic Fallout Weapons" mod, it's not from WMX, TTW or this mod. I can't control what other modders do with their mods, nor can I provide support for every combination of every mod that might be used with this one.
I have this loaded after WMX in my load order in MO2 and whenever I load up the game it says that Weapon Mods Expanded is not compatible with Tale of Two Wastelands, which makes me think that the mod isn't functioning properly or I've made some sort of mistake, is there a certain way to install this aside from the normal way?
No, I have a whole mod list that I've been messing around with and this has been the only persisting issue that I haven't been able to solve yet, I could try disabling everything except WMX, the patch and TTW then load up a new game to see if the message persists
Yea alright, I figured it out I think. I cleared my mod list of everything besides the basic needs of TTW and WMX and I haven't been getting any in-game message about incompatibility. Guess it was some other mod causing the message to appear somehow.
I figured out the mod causing the Incompatibility warning to flash, that being Classic Fallout Weapons Remastered and my guess why is the most recent update, 1.5, removes the built-in patch for WMX and instead adds its own weapon mods.
The mod works fine at the script level. The only problem it suffers from is some broken meshes like the one on the alien blaster. But that's not the fault of the modder, roy batty himself said that wmx is only incompatible because of its meshes, not because of its content. The only way not to use them would be to have the bonuses and leave the original aesthetics of the weapon except when there are telescopic sights. However, almost all normal and energy weapons work correctly.
maybe its on my end, but the game loads in wmx's weapon meshes, which while they look fine, once you try to aim down sights on the laser pistol....yeah it has some issues.

Where was this message? In LOOT or in game?
Are those mods the only ones you have installed?
