I know there are fans of this type of mod, but I personally don't get the point. Just don't save. The options are already in the game to turn off autosaves, and you can even change/remove the quicksave and quickload keys already. I can count the number of quicksaves I've made on one hand since this game came out, about the only time I do it is when I've been out for a long time and haven't had an autosave, in case my game crashes. Sometimes I save in front of the promonitory so I can wipe out the deathclaws in different fun ways, I've never bothered saving once I've started killing them.
Some people can't physically restrain themselves from quicksaving, and even for the average joe adding restrictions on saving adds a psychological effect that can't be achieved with just saying 'I won't quicksave.' If you can always quicksave and quickload, you'll never feel worried about any encounter.

Manually handicapping yourself by not using auto-saves, ignoring overpowered items, not using infamous cheese, etc., isn't fun; it's forced artificial difficulty because the game isn't balanced correctly. Playing with a manual handicap always makes you conscious of your limitation, hurting emersion and fun. Also, this is an OPTIONAL difficulty mod; if you dislike it, don't use it.
I like this mod because I have no self control. I'm the kind of player that will quicksave every time I down an enemy, then reload if I make any mistakes. Could use an option to save while sleeping in a bed but otherwise good as is.
it would be cool to add an toggled option for saving while sleeping or while interacting with a capfire, this would make the save points more evenly placed I am a fan of your mods :)
Yo karut I've been playing with this and I love it. I use the chair mode. Genius mod and quite different from Qolore's, thanks for telling me about it. I'm gonna keep using it going forward!
I'd like to think I have the self control to restrict my saves like this without the need of a mod, but the truth is I really don't lmfao. Love the idea will def use this ty
I applaud mods like this. Something that seeks to reduce shortcutting the experience. Anything that helps keep the immersion solid and uninterrupted is very welcome. I lump things like anti-fast travel into the same category, as well as anything that can be done to lower the urge to save scum, such as when pickpocketing.
I'll mention that I briefly made use of the tweak that demands you're sitting before you can wait. This ended up impacting my efforts to work on mods. In anticipation of a similar circumstance, I would have to recommend either throwing in your own sit-on-the-ground option (despite its existence elsewhere), or automatically disabling the feature during godmode.

It's more annoying than anything.
