A simple mod that restores the unused weather settings and adds additional weathers where appropriate while not complicating it more than the base game.
This mod is incompatible with all weather mods, including but not limited to: Clarity, Yellow Goodbye, Nevada Skies, Realistic Wasteland Lighting, and Altitude. If you just want a less god awful orange tint check out one of the first two mods listed, if you want weather variants and whatnot go check out one of the latter three mods.
P.S. I know nights are significantly darker, but because of how Bethesda handles sneak detection calculations, that actually works just as much in the player's favor as it does against players. (which I just found out earlier today, the more you know!)
I highly recommend using MoonlightNVSE by WallSoGB, it fixes an engine bug where the sun continues to emit light despite not being visible.
