A suggestion? Can you can make a Mod Configuration Menu tab or just an .ini file to configure things like AP drain, speed of repair, amount of durability repaired per AP drain, stuff like that?
I think it's possible to do this with Mod Configuration Menu, but I'm afraid I'm not that good at modding, I'll see what I can do. And yes, I saw a bug in the bugtracker, I will look at it in the near future. Thanks for submitting bug.
Thank you for this. I have one small suggestion; Perhaps a version that bumps up the skill and possibly level requirements to make it more of a mid to late game reward for higher, if not maxed, repair skill. Perhaps earlier acquisition would be possible if one puts all of their skill points into repair and also makes it a tag skill. I plan on making such adjustments for my mod setup.
I think about this, also i think about other possible option, such as make a direct relationship between the repair skill and the maximum repair level. I came to the conclusion that those who want to get it early will add a perk to themselves manually with commands. And those who want to play with a more challenge will take it for themselves when they see fit. I specifically made two ranks so that everyone can decide if they need repair armor too.
I'm not sure tag skill, or trait, is a good option. Obviously, this perk greatly breaks the game economy. But how to impose reasonable penalties on this skill is not clear to me. Therefore, at this moment, I leave the balance setting to the user's discretion, which can be done by installing additional mods, or play without abusing the perk.
It is very easy to change the required level and skill using GECK or FNVEdit, if necessary, I can make a custom mod if someone needs other perk requirements.
