I'm still getting combat lag, most notably during my initial strike against an npc. I saw a comment below saying it could be another mod making it lag, is there anyway for me to find what mod is causing it?
This stuttering is related to your texture, if you had any mods that change texture try one by one to see which one is causing the issue, i had this issue when using Vanilla Blood Texture Remastered, the way i found the solution was lowering the texture in the game menu and the stuttering stops, so i eventually find out that was the mod causing the issue every time i get a hit (the blood texture was appearing). I simple deactivate the mod and is all fixed now.
This mod is causing me issues. It is causing everything to speed up, most notably menus and dialogue. For example, press backspace and a word is gone instantly. The main problem is the dialogue being out of sync. The character's lips will do the animation VERY FAST and then the sound file will continue playing with no mouth movement. This happens maybe a quarter to half of the time. For example Doc Mitchell will be fine until I sit down on his couch, then sunny smiles has no problems what so ever. I use console to unlock the door to the BOS facility 10 mins later and their leader has the issue.
I tested this on a fresh install with only 15 mods, mainly xnvse and essential xnvse plugins from 2023 mod guides.
This mod is brilliant, I used to have drops to 40 fps when shooting at everyone at the Old Mormon Fort with a minigun. Now I can safely murder Arcade Ganon with 90+ fps :D
It does work, however, if you are using a sound/anim pack and have it/the game installed on a slow hard drive, you're bound to get these stutters. Refer to FNV Performance Guide for help and consider using my collection here.

This mod gave me an issue with the caravan tutorial in Goodsprings where the jack card being used would softlock the animation in a loop the fix was to uninstall the mod

i know, this is true, but this is also a fact. i removed the mod and the issue was and is gone. i have made and fixed some mods myself in the past and i can say from experience that its surprising what screws up sometimes.
Yep that fixed the mod! thanks for the advice and glad we could figure it out. i forgot about the fnv fps capping casuing issues but its so strange that it caused issues with this mod of all things first.
glad that is was just me being an idiot but it might be beneficial to make a note of it on the mods FAQ or something for future idiots, i know its not your job to explain basic things and that i should just not be an idiot. But if beth vet like me can be stoopid then this will happen again and a note might make it a smoother solve next time!
