Seburo is a subsidiary of "Poseidon Global Industrial Technologies." It's a bit of a reach -- but not a terribly painful one -- to suppose that in the Fallout universe, that parent company would have been Poseidon Energy, which did indeed have weapons projects. Lore-wise, it's not implausible (even if it's never directly stated) that Poseidon acquired Seburo in order to have their weapons designers work on energy weapons, while still allowing Seburo to continue to manufacture and market ballistic firearms.
i tried but something in fnvedit wasnt correct. i eventually just trudged my way over to cerulean robotics and found the gun lying there and for my own curiosity i opened the console and checked its GBO. for some reason it wasnt the same load order number as fnvedit was saying it was. for some reason in fnvedit said the seburo cx mod was the 16 in the load order but consoles gbo search said it was 14. super peculiar. so instead of 16000ade the ID was 14000ade
I don't remember where the gloves are from, they've been sitting in my MO2 build for years. The face is from a heavily customized version of the marie rose race here on the nexus.
thank you for this great mod! two things i noticed however: the laser sight doesn't appear in game and the silencer doesn't actually silence the weapon. i'm using it anyway as i really dig the holo sight variation. endorsed.
There isn't a mesh for the laser beam itself, but I could add one relatively easily if people want that. And I'll take a look at the flags for silencing, thanks for letting me know
