Are you sure the "La Fantoma" cover is supposed to say that? I realize the broken Spanish could've been used intentionally as a joke but in this case it doesn't seem to make a lot of sense. If you read it in Spanish it's just gibberish and if you read it in English without knowing any Spanish, I don't think you'd be able to tell what it's trying to say.
The problem with "Ella azucena de noche" is that "azucena" is a flower - a lily- not a verb which is what should be in there. I'm fairly sure this was supposed to be "Ella acecha de noche" (she stalks at night).
"Como es que una Dica El Mafiosa no tiene opciones de izquierdas?" has several issues. - "Dica" is not a word. - "El Mafiosa" is grammatically wrong. Should be "El Mafioso" or "La Mafiosa", but even then it doesn't fit with the rest of the sentence. - "No tiene opciones de izquierdas" translates to "has no left-wing alternatives", as if they were talking about politics.
This one is a little harder to figure out, but after looking at the low res version, I believe what it is supposed to say is "Como es que una chica tan hermosa obtuvo poderes tan especiales?" (How did such a lovely girl got such special powers?)
I will say that according to the wiki, it is supposed to say what you wrote, but this is one of those times when I'm confident saying the wiki is wrong. Whoever wrote that didn't understand what the cover was supposed to say and nobody ever corrected it. I guess I will.
Looks very good! But if the magazine covers are so low-res and blurry by default, then how did you manage to restore all the small things that are written in there? Was it just a guess?
Good question! The loading screens that feature the hanging magazines use slightly higher res art than the actual models. suid1's ESRGAN loading screen upscale was able to bring even more detail out, which allowed me to read almost everything on the covers. From memory the only things I guessed were the footer on Lad's Life and a couple of other small details.
