Just as an FYI for anyone interested in this but using Titans of the West you can install just the textures folder and miss the meshes folder or hide it in MO2, the armor will be more detailed with the higher resolution textures though it wont have the reflective gloss material or the glowing parts.

    Still an improvement though.

This retexture is great! I love the color aesthetic and glowing parts, they look excellent.

As this mod is texture only, could it work with normal New Vegas assumming i had another mod that add the Hellfire Armor like Original Hellfire Armor Mod?
Update: it work, although the eyes is not glowing, instead it is dark red color, almost black. Also the armor look kinda glossy, brand new looking, not like the pic.

Ok find out why it not working now. The culprit is NMM. It handle the texture path incorrectly and cause the glow map to be missing. Switch over to MO2 to install and everything is perfect. Although because i don't use ENB so the glowing is not as good as the screenshot.

Random thing to ask or note I suppose, I wanted to know if this is common or just me but I seem to get your shiny metal finish with scratches overcoat is always super bright with a ENB on, now I tried testing it with a couple ENB's (Simple & Rudy) and it seems to be what causes it.
I was wondering if you knew how to fix this in the ENB settings or if there is a way in general to fix such a issue. I want to get this armor retexture working fully with a ENB since no other Hellfire retexture is on the same level of quality like yours, anyways thank you for your time and this mod!

Could you check which ENB effect is causing the issue by turning them off one by one. I run also with ENB but have lens, bloom and DOF effects turned off. I am using the good old Enhanced Shaders ENB, which was the only one I could make look good in all three wastelands. Can't replicate the problem with my setup.

I think the brightness comes from glow&color value of nimaterialproperty in the armor model, but if I turn that off it also makes the orange&red glow effects disappear. Game shouldn't use those values when I have proper Glow map defined, but I think ENB somehow does it.

Oh my g-- and I thought it looked cool before! How naive I was! Right! I'm dropping the cash on Fallout 3, finally. Can't live without this armour in my game.

Playing Fallout 3 with TTW is really worth it. Installation is a bit of a hassle, but it will give you much improved FO3 game.

There is good instructions for installation on TTW site:

Actually if someone wants a black version the hellfire texture from id2301 which I started mine from works well with TTW:
      https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/18370
It is also only 2k so a slightly lighter.

I think actually running TTW doesn't require any more from computer than running NV or FO3. Installation just takes longer with slower machine.

Yeah I've got my eye on Fallout 3 on steam now. I'm waiting for a sale, because I don't think it's worth £14.99, even with all DLC. Apparently, TTW is the only way for some people to play Fallout 3. Something to do with it being incompatible with Windows 10 or modern PC parts... Or something. I don't really know what I'm talking about. But MrMattyPlays on YouTube had trouble playing it and Bully on PC has similar problems. New Vegas is actually more stable for a lot of people.

I have used HRK. They are cheap and game codes have worked nicely with steam:

So I managed to find a work around to needing TTW. I downloaded a mod on here that consists of only an esp that adds the armour but requires meshes and textures. So it seems to have worked for the most part, but the glow effects and eye textures doesn't seem to be. Any advice on how I could alter the esp in fnvedit?

As for not getting a game officially, that's not really my thing... I only really do that unless I want a game that isn't officially available anymore or if I want to test if my PC can actually run it without wasting my money - I treat it as a demo on account of my potato PC.

Glow missing is weird. It is defined in the .nif model, which comes with this mod.

Game seems to make a whole weapons glow if something is wrong in files. Maybe this is same kind of thing. Only thing this .esp asked for which is not in my mod is the icons for the armor. You could try to delete that record with fnvedit.

I still recommend going for full TTW even with slower computer. My game has never had as solid 60 fps as it does with TTW installed. Maybe it could even help older machines run better? And FO3 with NV game engine is solid. I didn't notice a single bug on my 40 hour playthrough... Well except the ones I caused with trying all kinds of weird mods...

Oh My Lord! This is great addition to TTW. I'm currently downloading both Fallout 3 and New Vegas on Steam. I'm going install TTW soon.
