So, I decided to make a mini-thread on where to locate the unique variant. (I don't want to use GECK to get the refid)
So based on a previous post the hints are - Related to an action movie. - There is an action movie from the 1980 called The Exterminator. - The schtick is that the hero is a dude who uses a flamethrower - There is Fire Root Cavern, home of fire breathing geckos.
When I get the chance, I will explore that place, and see if it is successful. If I can confirm the location, in respect of the author, I will add a spoiler on the location.
Note: If someone can do this before me, I would appreciate if they do a spoiler post on it as well.
I've been re-tuning these for Very Hard difficulty setting, and find them to be THE definitive shotgun for this game. I've also renamed some, to wit:
L'Exterminateur =
'The Exterminator - Ivory (or ebony for the black ones) - full length' 'The Exterminator - Ivory (etc) - Coach Gun' 'The Exterminator - Ivory (ibid.) - CQB'
Base damage upped to 500, spread to 2.25 for all models, tube capacity: 9 for full length, 7 for coach gun length, 5 for CQB length.
There are some Recipes that give the wrong weapons and one weapon that's unable to equip the Choke and another one which can equip two chokes. I fixed them personally (including making the naming of the weapons consistent) and i wanted to aks for permission if i could post it here? Also are all the versions of the L'EXTERMINATEUR supposed to only be able to equip the choke?
I think so, I don't recall all the specific combinations for the unique variant(s); but I think the L'EXTERMINATEUR variants all have the custom lever by default.

I could not be more pleased with this weapon.
Every now and then I get the itch to try a cowboy themed -- or sometimes a "modern gunslinger theme" -- playthrough.
I always end up giving up on that by the time I get to Fiends territory and get wasted with submachine guns, but that aside...
This shotgun is tempting me to try it again...
