Does anyone know what the form ID is for the truck key? Im trying to use this mod in a DUST playthrough but old lady gibson get converted to a survivor NPC.
The back bumper of the van is a bit buggy. The texture flickers as seen in the difference between these two pictures, and the mesh appears to be incomplete on one side (the opposite side of the bumper mesh is perfectly fine). I downloaded the original to check for these issues and they are also present there. When I swapped the textures on the bumper with something else it still flickered, so I assume the flickering is caused by the broken/incomplete mesh. This is obviously not a game breaking issue, but I thought it might've been something on my end until I checked out the nifs myself. Edit: So it doesn't start bugging until I leave OLG's Scrapyard. If I inspect the bumper at the scrapyard it's fine. So weird.
Hey awesome mod! A question though: Would it be possible to make the fuel cost even higher? I want to be able to travel but feel forced to use the truck traveling very sparingly
Really cool mod, thank you for the remaster, I have a question, how would I go about making the truck cost more to purchase? I realized it can not be done in xEdit I tried to alter a few fields lol and I have never successfully used the GECK. I am on a TTW hardcore ROOG, BLEED< burn, sawyerBatty, extreme Famine install with a 4x high priced economy and water overhaul. I know this is not the typical setup but I would like to raise the price to idk something like 2500-5000 caps but I have been unable to figure out how, thinking about opening the GECK up and giving it a try any advice on what to edit or if it can even be done easily? In any case thank you for this and all you work, I also use a number of your other mods, good stuff.
You need to use GECK because price is hard-coded in scripts, which you need to recompile. That's what I did.
Also, I'd recommend against BLEED and higher-priced economy. The first just trivializes combat (because AI is stupid) and throws a lot of game mechanics into the window (ammo types, armor stats, damage boosting chems, etc). Increasing prices also makes the game easier and make less sense (using thousands of caps for trade is... inconvenient). I'd recommend Economy Overhaul instead which reduces prices (I've set mine to 0.5x instead of default 0.25x). This makes raising money by looting much harder and overall money more meaningful.
I enjoyed this mod during Gopher's playthrough, so I'm glad it got a modern remake. Thanks for all of the remakes/remasters/revisions, and the guide of course.
Gopher is actually still in the middle of his Fallout TTW playthrough and he is using the mobile truck base in case you didn‘t know or are interested….
Yeah I'm a few episodes behind but I'm enjoying the playthrough so far. It looks so much different than my last experience with FO3 which was on PS3. Op Anchorage was way shorter than I remembered.

I am not complaining, your mod your rules. But please understand that readers will kind of expect said support exists after reading that, you know? xD
Why is there no TTW support?
