Like the title says, this mod will allow you to save Benny at The Fort without messing up the Legion quest-line!

But this mod is in a testing phase! It works for me, maybe not for you?! Nah, I'm playing, all I really had to do to make this mod is edit a few scripts in dialogue trees with Benny and Caesar. So it should work... In theory. Unless you are using Benny Returns - I'll upload a version for that soon. I don't have any free time, 'kay? 'Kay. Let me know if it breaks anything, though. Y'all are my testers muahaha

I mostly made this mod for myself, so now I consider it 'done,' unless of course it somehow doesn't work. But it does work for me, hehe. Regardless, use at your own 'risk' (there shouldn't be any risk associated with this mod, but you never know).

I set the standalone main version to work only if you give Benny the bobby pin and stealth boy OR if you free him after going through the underground bunker (not before).

The (much anticipated?) version that is compatible with the Benny Returns mod has been uploaded! Thanks to geekminxen for making the mod and llamaRCA for looking at scripts and helping finish the mod and to both for their generous permissions! As with the original mod, this version works only if you give Benny the bobby pin and stealth boy OR if you free him after going through the underground bunker (not before). I can make one that works with all kinds of Benny freeing later if I feel like it. Installation instructions for this Benny Returns version are as follows:
Step 1:
Download and install Benny Returns mod
Step 2:
Download this mod - only the file that says it's for Benny Returns.
Step 3:
Install this mod with a mod manager of your choice. If it prompts you to overwrite anything, say 'yes to all' if not - uncheck the original BennyReturns.esp and check the BennyReturns.esp  that I made instead. If you use NMM, my version will have a bit of flavor text at the description so you know to activate it. See photos for what I mean.
