    This plus the FO3 power armor sounds restored is god tier, my friend. Took me so long to find exactly this - best power armor sounds mod on the nexus! The option to make the landing sound detectable is the icing on the cake, and it actually works on npcs.

    P.S. Incredible name on the tin. I love it; my confidence is restored!

    Is it possible to disable the walking and running sounds and only keep the landing sound? I'm using ttw which already adds the fo3 PA sounds.

    Is there a way to change the power armor sound only for the player?

    for some reason the volume control for the sound effects doesent seem to do anything.

    I set them all the way to 100 db and there is no volume difference, the power armor sounds are still very loud ingame.

    BEST MOD EVER!!! If only I'd found it earlier for my penis...

    The only weird thing I've come across is that every scenario works fine while 3rd person running with weapon (other than umarmed) out just playing regular sound, I'm very confused...
    ====================================
    OK, located the problem , lies somewhere in 360 movement / diagonal movement.

      360 movement and diagonal are for small penis.

      Sth. even weirder happens -- seems like it's not 360/diagonal movement ('s small penis) to blame, it's the problem originally from Alternate Power Armor Footstep Sounds itself. Under the same testing environment every other footstep mod works fine except this one. For this mod while having weapon out in 3rd person, the sound only plays once on the first step. Assuming the sound files may have some unique pattern/format conflicts with unknow animation bouncy boobs. But that one is the best PA sfx I've found so far, what a shame.

      Strange. Works on my side. Wait for the little update that is almost ready. I change some things to fix issues related to the use of JAM or Solid Project mods + some improvements.
      Could fix your issue.

      No. My fault. The culprit is found, not anyone else, it's BNB animation. Just wondering what a pair of bouncy boobs has to do with walking in power armor. Me and my penis both refuse to comment on it.
      I'm now working on finding which .kf file exactly caused this conflict with only this sound effect. Will report back later.
      ==============================================================================================
      Using 2hmfastforward.kf and 1hmfastforward/back/left/right.kf (could be more, not tested yet) will prevent the sound from playing. Might not be an issue you could fix, I just disabled them and everything is fine now. Who would (or even could) watch their boobs bouncing while busy chopping monsters in power armor? At least I wouldn't.
      ==============================================================================================
      With anims from BnB disabled, 1hmfastbackward and h2hfastbackward still don't play proper sounds, and I'm sure they are vanilla. Maybe there is something mysterious between Alternate Power Armor Footstep Sounds and random anims.

      What a shame!
      More seriously, I think that the .kf files simply lack of sound (sounds are attached to .kf files). If you know how to use nifskope, you could check if you can restore vanilla sounds to the new .kf files by copying values from vanilla .kf files.
      But I really don't knwo XD

      The strangest thing is it only happens when using Alternate Power Armor Footstep Sounds. Adding sound to .kf files could be a fix but it's far beyond my capabilities, so I can live with that (supposedly).
      Anyways, thank you for making all these great mods, please continue to amaze us

      You're welcome. Last thing: be sure to NOT use the plugin file from Alternate Power Armor Footsteps Sounds. If you use it, it could mess with my scripts and lead to sound not playing as expected.

      Yep, absolutely, 'cause reading instruction before installing a mod is virtue

      Eventuallly I switched to the second best plan by mixing Power Armor Soundified & Power Armor Footsteps (Fixed), the sfx is somewhat inferiror to Alternate Power Armor Footstep Sounds but the consistency is much better since for the latter footstep sound keeps disappearing occassionally even with custom anims disabled. And guess what, bouncy pairs back again>_^

    This is by far the best power armor sound mod. Shame it is so absurdly named, it should get more recognition.

    However, my only gripe is that the awesome landing sound is way too loud. Could we get attenuation controls also for the landing sound in the INI? Even halving the volume could help.

    Without landing sounds power armor sounds literally like this: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/iLwtvwbQAH0

    I am having an issue where in third person the foot steps are doubled up when running, with the weapon out it is fine, but all sounds (default and custom) are overlapping and doubled, Any thoughts or anyone else getting this issue?

    Would it be possible to have a more dramatic attenuation rage like 0-1000, or a version that doesn't boost audio but keeps the other features such as the forced audio across mods?

    I feel the volume difference from 0-100 is quite minimal, yet it currently makes the fo3 files quite loud. That said, all of the other settings are fantastic!

      0-100 are the limits in the geck. I could search for another way to deal with, but canno't promise anything

    Hey so I found an incompatibility with a mod or two.  I'm not sure if the issue lies with Enhanced Camera or Solid Project, but with both those mods installed and you sprint with your weapon out there is no footstep sound for power armor.  I found that Originally I had the sprint hand animation from Solid Project turned on with both weapon out and with it holstered and I sprinted there was no footstep sound.  However the footstep sound did work in third person so I switched the Solid Projects sprint hand animation off and it started working with my weapon holstered.  With the hand animation turned off and with my weapon out the issue persists.  I will a have to check in third person with weapon out because I didn't do that.  My fix was to use Project Nevada's sprint function which works perfectly in first person weapon out/holstered.  So I do suspect the issue to be with Solid Project. Thanks love your mod and it will be a permanent addition to my load order.

      Thanks for your kind comment. I have to check but if Solid Project use a special animation for sprint (instead of just increasing speed) that could be the issue because the game itself won't consider you're moving, and so won't play sound (your character play an animation but not a vanilla movement one). I've added in previous version a support for Just Vanilla Sprint (JVS) mod but I removed it since last version of JVS seems to trigger itself the sounds (but I dont know how XD).
      I really don't know how Enhanced Camera handle the movements, but if it use 3rd POV animation instead of 1st, wich I guess, it should be compatible. I think Solid Project to be the culprit one but can' be sure.
      I don't use the sprint feature of SP neither Enhanced Camera and sadly don't plan to create compatibility with them soon.
