Great mod, but could you possibly make a version without the Sentry Bot change?

Hello, thank you very much, but I don’t feel the need to make an entirely separate mod for just one change. However, there is an easy solution to your problem. When you install the mod, go to the data folder, click sound, then voices, then the FalloutNV.esm folder and delete the robotsentrybot folder and you should be good.

interesting mod! it seems very odd that the NV team would spend the time and budget to revoice something that was perfectly good enough and that the vast majority of players wouldn't notice...

Yeah idk why they did that either. Maybe because they were two studios and the VAs for Bethesda couldn’t do anything?

Probably a royalty problem, Fallout 3 released in 2008 so they probably need to pay more money to the original cast or the studio to re-use it again for Fallout New Vegas 2011 release, so it's easier and cheaper at the time to record new voice with their current VA cast plus New Vegas has several new dialogues for robots like for Fisto, Repconn Mr. Handy, etc. so to keep consistency they need to re-cast the old VA or change it to new VA all together and they choose the later.

I agree. With 76 I'm honestly really fatigued by bethesda using the same voices over and over again for the bots. at least obsidion tried something different.

I also think Nv ones are better, except Mr Gutsy and Handy. They sound better in F3 especially the army voice.

Didn't they only change it because of the weird contract issues with the Fallout 3 voice work?

you expect a type of robot that is mass produced in quantities to sound different donovanne? like i get what you mean but thats like expecting a robot programmed for baby sitting to interact with people in a threatening fashion, idk if this well make a difference on your vision but the voice actor of the gutsy in f4 and 76 is different then the one in 3. in f3 stephen russell voices the mr gutsies and in f4 later 76 they are voiced by dave mitchell, its pretty noticeable by how one sounds like a motivational squad leader while the other sounds like drill sergeant hartman from FMJ which dave even admitted being inspired by hartman, so there are some differences in between f3's and f4 to 76's gutsys, although i can see why the fatigue i really can't relate since i love the voices beth gave better then obsidian, but still i respect your opinion on it

Thank you for making this, the default fonv robot voices are awful and the same fo3 robot voices are used in fo4 for the robot voices glad you made this I'll def endorse you.

I feel like it also makes it lose consistency with the unique robots' voice, such as Primm Slim.
In my headcanon, I'd like to imagine the robots shipped between the Mojave and the Capital came with different voice modules.

My brother's Ex-wife thought Fallout 3 was the best Fallout.

She also poisoned his Cat because she couldn't have a pet of her own, gaslight him into thinking he was an awful abusive husband, framed him for a series of crimes she committed, stole his identity, made him think he was the father of her only son so she could get out of raising him, cheated repeatedly with every one of his male friends, and is currently on the run from the police for grand larceny

so I know exactly what to do with that opinion.

I prefer 3 for the atmosphere and urban environment but NV is just better in every other area.

You're not describing a friend or a man, you're describing a human doormat.
Some guys get hooked on a bitch. It's a rookie mistake, the first time she
cheats on you is when you're supposed to walk out. Another man cannot
      UN-Cum in that wh*%#'s mouth.

Absolutely. People are often very easily impressed with lots of stuff and special effects, but sometimes I think NV was doing a bit too much. FO3's economy was superior, it's weapon balance was way better. In 3, small advantages such as a Unique weapon with a better Crit could easily be a game changer. This is opinion but, FNV needs a dozen mods before it's remotely playable on PC, that being said FO3 was playable on console. Regardless of how many people wont play on console, FO3's console release has so many exploits that Cheats aren't a thing one needs. Literally the exploit list is so long that it basically has been accepted as "official cheats" and pretty much everybody enjoyed that. There are a lot of things NV did well, but my TTW tunings will always lean towards FO3 configurations.

Honestly I never really noticed how different they were until now and even though I like the New Vegas ones more I will use this mod just to change things up a bit!

Another solution to the problem above would to just manually install and repack the mod via 7zip after removing the sentry bot folder.

Thank you for this! The Mr. Handy voices always sounded kind of demonic. Sentry Bots were the only voices that were actually improved in FNV.

Much appreciated, and yes I agree with the NV Mr. Handies, they sound so mean while the Gutsies sound friendlier. Like they swapped haha
