Haha well I was making mods for Enderal back then, and only recently got a little more involved with creation kit and geck to make bigger things like this. I'm still very new to making my own mods so I can't be too ambitious, plus I won't have a ton of time as I'm searching for jobs rn, but I'll make what little things I can. You'll just have to play through the mod again :)
I'll be definitely using most if not all of your mods when I decide to finally play Enderal. Absolutely love that you tried to "loosen the Skyrim roots" and give it its own personal appearance.
"Overlooked" is an understatement! My very favorite "new worldspace/quests" mod on nexus!!! The vengeful little supermutant, the surly ghoul, Poke, Blu Ray, new armor/clothes/backpack-things, and the best vault ever built! And the best skill books ever!!! Unique experience that never fails to entertain - if it was a DLC, it would be my favorite. To paraphrase, "it just works" - beautifully. A few bugs (npcs that can't be looted) and incompatible with Ojo Bueno (in ONE case, but a quest busting case) but it it so freaking fun. Glad to see this to flesh it out a bit more.
Not sure how it's incompatible with Ojo Bueno though, I've played it with it with no problems. Ojo Bueno is a texture pack, it shouldn't affect any quests at all, unless you're talking about some visual glitches in some areas. But again, Never encountered any.
Stay tuned and I might update this with some landscape edits, the sides of roads leading up to the rock faces are pretty bare and maybe I could add some more rocks and vegetation to fill it out.
There is one of the holotape messages, in the Flophouse on a garbage can, that I can't pick up with Ojo Bueno running. Turn it off, and I can pick it up just fine... Doesn't make much sense to me, but it could be a clash among NMC/Ojo/Y.U.P. (Y.U.P. fixes a texture "glitch or bug" or two and it makes "Saxons' Quests" not work on one quest due to its fix), but it is beyond me. All I know is that I don't get the glitch w/out Ojo.
That wouldn't hurt anything! If I could make a recommendation though: Add a simple flashlight to one of the early vendors' lists (Angel and/or Blue Ray) for people who haven't played this mod so that the main vault is navigable! So dark... Thanks for this mod, and your reply - both are much appreciated! Kudos.
I've managed to collect all holotapes just fine. I'm not saying you don't have a problem though, but sometimes just because you're unticking the mod and everything works fine doesn't mean it's this specific mod that causes it. The only way you can say more likely that's what it is when you don't have anything else installed but the mod you want to use and mod you suspect of a conflict. But even then, sometimes it can be just about wrong install, corrupted download, whatever. I only can confirm that I, personally, with many mods installed including Ojo Bueno, did not have that problem. You ever tried clicking on the object in the console and then typing moveto player? Or even disabling the trashcan. It can be as simple as a havoc glitch and this can fix it.
It might sound odd for someone who loves to use mods, but I NEVER use console commands in game - that is cheating lol! Whatever is the actual cause, it has shown up twice on separate playthroughs, and has been remedied both times by disabling Ojo (on both my potato laptop and on a decent gaming pc). I've tried disabling the other mods I run that alter textures to no avail. Who knows... It doesn't bother me, but simply stands out on such an otherwise great mod. The one holotape cannot be interacted with at all - I can see it fine, but I can't "Press A to pick up" or 'grab' it from the top of the garbage can to move it to somewhere else. Disable Ojo Bueno, and it is fine to pick up... Just one of the joys of Fallout...
Inshallah, That sounds awesome. Though I think I'll replace Mark Morgan's stuff with something else, that music is Overused now, and want to keep it totally original. By the way, last time I've played Zion Trail many years ago I went through it with this radio, fits vey well https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/61461

MO2 detects the Music folder as the top directory for some reason, and the .esp is placed within it.
