Would be interested if anyone has done or would like to do a mod that adds sentry bots to suitable locations in Mojave. As I learned that there is only a few of them used in New Vegas and there could be more and they should be slightly stronger opponents.

Kind of a strange question, how would I go about making these work in TTW's Capital Wasteland? I'm assuming the file paths must be different. I didn't realize how nasty the vanilla sentry bots look until I saw these textures, they look insanely good.

EDIT: Scratch that, these do actually work in the Capital Wssteland, it just doesn't apply to the sentry bot in front of the citadel. Maybe it uses a different model, I'm not sure.

You put all sorts of robot retextures on your mod list but nahhhhhh! Nahhhhh. Yours is wayyyy better than any of the others. This is the best sentry retex on the Nexus. This is THE ****. I love it. ? thank you so much. Really well done.

Again, these look epic, and fit well with the various mods that alter the Mojave landscape. I would just put the different camo types in different optional file downloads, though. Also, personally, I hope you continue adding clean camo to robots (and perhaps even modifying them slightly in other ways too, like say, new laser types, with a new color like light blue/their own new effects vs certain enemies types and buffing allies in some way who are nearby), because I certainly believe the Mojave needs it at this point, as much robotic improvement as it can get. I mean, while it's true Fallout is a post-apocalyptic world, I believe it is only Human nature to build anew at some point, and not live in essentially, a trash heap, forever after (lol).

Installer actually does quite a lot when you select options. It is renaming files so I can get away with lower amount of install files, because they would be same anyway. If packages would be separate there would 12 of them and much easier to mess up downloading.

Lasers effects and other projectiles are totally unfamiliar area to me, but pretty interesting.
EDIT: Looks like there is a .nif model of each projectile and the same red or green laser beam is used everywhere. Red one is named testlaserbeamsteady.nif  I think it has been already tested quite much. Will need to create a test weapon and try to make it blue.

Hah... Tried to get all lasers in my game blue but succeeded only half way:

Come oon... Where is the other setting hiding...
EDIT: There you go blue laser beams. All lasers in my game shoot like this now:

However this is only little part of the story. There is muzzle flash and impactdata, which are still original. So shooting laser pistol looks like this, despite blue beam:

Lot of work ahead to change all that blue. But sentry bot looked nice shooting blue.?

I do have an idea however in regards to your sentry bot comment. Perhaps, instead of just sentry bots in a few new select locations, you could increase the difficulty of the main factions (NCR/Legion), by allowing a chance for random robots (including those of OWB like roboscorps/cyberdogs) to spawn in place of weaker units (maybe like a 25% chance or so?).

There are lists of levelled creatures to spawn that can be used. Problem is that they usually end at level 16. That is the reason lvl 20-30 player is so OP in the game. Enemies just stop getting better after level 16.

There is a robot list which goes lvl 1 Protectron, Lvl 7 Robobrain, lvl 11 Mister Gutsy, lvl 16 Sentry Bot.

Well, I know the boring feeling of fighting low tier enemies. Perhaps, along with the idea of giving about a 25% chance of replacing weaker NCR/Legion spawns with robots (including those from OWB), I'd recommend also using the two mods Robot's Revenge and Threshold for a challenge.

I actually thought of one more camo that might work well in the Mojave. As NV has a lot of brown, from the dirt to it's larger rocks, so maybe like a sort of ground/mossy oak-like camo, if that makes sense, would also be a useful camo for robots here too, imo.
