Ah, already played the swordstone tower, it stuck out like a sore thumb, but in a good way, cause it was hella good, even when borked.
It's inevitable that i will replay frontier, AND i have this huge ass backlog of saves, so i'm gonna get this patch and give the tower a whirl at it's full glory.
Also, i'm playing the old, nasty, unfiltered 1.0 frontier that i kept backed up, so i probably, hopefully won't be having any .5 frontier issues like some peeps in the comments seem to be having.
Edit: yknow what? i think i'm gonna use that zhunter guy's whole ass batch of patches instead, seems to include this and a couple more things i'm happy to have anyways!
Just wrapped this quest up. Definitedly the highlight of the mod, alongside the vehicle implementation. That said, i didn't turn around to look, but what's the deal with the hologram under the floor of the corridor to the power room?
Would it be possible to get an option patch to get Viula as a companion? I'm sure it doesn't fit with your vision for the outcome I just figured it was worth an ask because I really like her design and lore.
So lemme get this straight: they yoinked your work because they thought using a song from Dead Money was "egregious overuse" - why? "Overuse" implies it was used anywhere ELSE in the mod, and it doesn't look like it ever was. Hell, at least it's a legally-usable New Vegas DLC asset.
I guess for some knobs, one time is "egregious overuse"...
It's like the same kind of "overuse" like that Solid Project "will create problems with the Frontier", to the point where they put an annoying warning if you load your game with it. It has nothing to do with like overuse or problems it's just that the devs had problems with Rikku and Tommy in the past and since they are pityful little creatures they would go to any kind of laughable lengths to "harm" them. You kno like that ex that puts sugar in your fuel tank. Don't believe them playing their victim card right now. While what happened was definitely like s#*!, it was like assholes shitting over other assholes. And them "victim" assholes for sure didn't learn anything from that. Like that Solid Project warning was put in after all of this happened for example.
Might have found out why the changes were made, with your esp active the NCR mission to Archimedes II crashes before a few cut scenes.. tried moving it in the load order but no avail, deactivating momentarily to get past that point fixes it all up
Also, thank you.. for everything.. we don't deserve this
So, do I have to be aligned with Legion or NCR to do this quest? I haven't actually found Swordstone Tower yet, but I was going through a Crusader run and was wondering if it can be done independently, or if it's locked behind a faction.
