i might just install this simply because ttw is actually unfun as hell when you get to higher levels and have to fight 3 of these every 5 feet, idk who decided that was a good idea but they should be shot
I'll admit, I hate getting jumped by a pack of giant albino radscorpions every time I venture out in the wastes. Gets annoying after the first few times.
Hey, I just wanted to let everyone know I'm aware of it not working atm. For whatever reason it seems that the plugin is not being loaded by the game. I'm looking into why that is.
Honestly, I have no idea what's going on. The mod won't even load into the game for me nor will it open in the geck. I really hope the problems I'm having are purely on my end. I opened a help thread on the TTW forum. Hopefully, I can get some help there.
In any case, I made a from-scratch mod that does the same thing but with slightly different creature conversion. Hopefully, I'm the only one this mod doesn't work for anymore.
Sadly doesn't look like it, not working for me either and looks like Cellgamer666 is having the same issue. I'm running vanilla TTW with this as the only mod loaded last, ran into my first Radscorpion at Hamilton's Hideaway
Thanks very muich - gonna try this tonight - I am pretty arachno phobic (and any relations of theirs) - I have been able to handle it this playthrough - however I'm now Level 49 and LITERALLY everytime I fast travel anywhere in the Capital Wasteland 3-4 Albino Radscorpions are hanging around - all glitched together too a lot of the time - yuck - plus I just waste SO many bullets on them.
Just an FYI this mod should work fine on the Albinos as well as the small, bark, and queen radscorps in the Mojave. However, it doesn't work on the normal and giant radscorps at the moment but the mod will hopefully be updated soon.
Wolfar, does "everything" mean the radscorpions just over the cemetary at the start? Becuase they still seem to be there
Edit: Not trying to be shitty. It's just hard. I used to love this game, but my arachnophobia has only gotten way worse since I was 10. I really thought this was the mod
I tried it out, quickly making a new character. It didn't seem to work. I say seem because I had my girlfriend run over the hill and past the cemetery at the start of the game. She said "Yeah I think you're gonna have to redo it, honey" so scorpions still attacked her. Any ideas? It is the only thing installed besides ENB
hey so i download this mod but when i tired to open the game its closed itself and i had to checked the data flies, turn on everything stills closed what should i do?
So from my initial testing in the Capital Wasteland, as of TTW 3.3.2, it seems this only affects the Albino scorps. I haven't gotten around to testing in the Mojave yet but I'll let you know what I find there.
Gotta say! While Rad Scorpions don't really bother me all that much, I've been looking for a mod that changes spawns around!
Honestly I hadn't played FO3 in a long while before finally deciding to go through the chore of installing the new version of TTW, what I forgot in that time is the atrocious way that game spawns it's mobs! The higher ones level is the more you start seeing the "Bullet Sponge Deluxe Mobs" like my most hated creature the Albino Scorpion! While such spawns are all right for an occasional bout, they should have not been used to replace everything in the god damn map, It makes exploration in the later levels a chore and a half. And also the survivability of trade caravans and other friendly NPCs drops drastically.
No offense, the only reason I am downloading and endorsing this mod is because I, for the life of me cannot find a mod that remedies these problems, and I am curious to see how you changed the existing spawns and maybe create something that I can use to solve the specified problems.
Any suggestion the mod author or anyone else can throw my way is welcome.
I changed the existing spawns by manually going into each and every GECK entry for the scorpions and editing them by hand.
I hope to never do something that tedious ever again and wouldn't wish it on anyone lol
The game handles enemies entirely wrong and there are a million entries for the exact same enemy pasted all over the place. It's insane.
If you absolutely must change the enemies, your best bet is to either edit or create a base you'd like them to copy from. Even then, there are no rules and not all enemies of one type actually share bases, some even go so far as to reference one another over and over again. Assuming you can put up with that, all you'd have to then do is check the boxes for what aspects of the base are carried over for each entry you want to change. The GECK has to reload and freak out for a minute or so after you tick each box, and too many haphazard clicks will just have it crash.
Ah God damn it! I thought it would be easier, honestly when I opened this thing I got cold sweats running down my spine! I thought you'd found and easier way. Seriously though hats of to you! Me on the other hand I'm gonna need a lot of junkfood to get through this one in one piece.

Edit. The load order for the mod I linked above as well as this mod should look like this:
FalloutNV.esm
DeadMoney.esm
HonestHearts.esm
OldWorldBlues.esm
LonesomeRoad.esm
GunRunnersArsenal.esm
Fallout3.esm
Anchorage.esm
ThePitt.esm
BrokenSteel.esm
PointLookout.esm
Zeta.esm
CaravanPack.esm
ClassicPack.esm
MercenaryPack.esm
TribalPack.esm
TaleOfTwoWastelands.esm
YUPTTW.esm
All Other Mods
If you are missing one or more of the master files then that will cause the mod not to work.
Thanks again
Edit, the updated file should cover everything.

I'm slowly building up the gumption to fix that compatibility issue, but even in it's current state, worst case it doesn't change anything.
Fixing it would probably mean remaking the entire thing from scratch, might give it a shot but that'll definitely take a while. Thanks again!

Best of luck to you, you'll likely need it!
