Axe-Man uses the word "man" in its archaic gender-neutral sense.
It's an aspect of his belief system, tribe, and language that Ididn't really have the runtime to explore beyond how much it was in the mods current content. (There was once a line about an attractive person in his tribe that went by "Whoa-Man" that was tossed out because I wasn't sure It'd read sincerely)
To everyone asking about this and the relation to the mod by Gerokeymaster;
Gero, at one point, pulled all mods related to AlChestBreach due to personal conflicts with members of his community. I won't go into details here but as someone who played and talked with Gero on a regular basis prior to his leaving the community, this is why it was pulled. He doesn't want any association with AlChestBreach or Zero Period Productions and asking him won't get you anywhere. I'm not speaking on behalf of Gero, however. -- Essentially, it's similar to how Al isn't allowed to play mods by Thuggysmurf anymore. Please don't contact Gerokeymaster or Thuggysmurf about either of this.
That's so weird to me... he even put in characters and references from Al's podcast, RLF, in the mod, so clearly he was quite the fan at one point. It's a shame something happened to make Gero hate him, but honestly, I doubt Al holds any responsibility for it, he's a treasure and has been for over a decade now.
I used to watch Alchestbreach when i was 14. i just bought a gaming pc like 3 months ago, im now 25. either way thanks for giving me some nostalgia. bless up my guy
I just wanted to say, thank you so much for bringing this legend back to us! I love how you did Axe Man in a way that's both lore-friendly to Fallout and also referencing his DayZ appearance. :)
