About this mod
Comes in two versions. V1.0 lowers Pack Rat's requirements, works on items weighing up to 4, and quarters an item's weight instead of halving it. V2.0 is the vanilla-plus version, which lowers the requirements and halves the weight of items weighing up to 4.
- Permissions and credits
In vanilla, Pack Rat has the requirements of Level 8, Intelligence 5, as well as Barter 70. To be fair, this seems pretty high for just halving the weight of items weighing up to 2.
Better Pack Rat changes the requirements to Level 5 and Barter 40, and comes in two versions:
V1.0: Quarters the weight of items weighing 4 or less. So you can think of it as 'doubling' the effects of the vanilla perk.
V2.0: Halves the weight of items weighing up to 4.
I've touched nothing except for the effects of Pack Rat in the GECK, which means that this mod shouldn't conflict with or edit anything except for this perk itself.
Also note that due to me not editing any scripts, this modified Pack Rat perk won't be removed when rebuilding your character. You'll have to use the command player.removeperk (using Pack Rat's vanilla perk ID).
**Installation:**
Download and install manually or with a mod manager of your choice.
**Uninstallation:**
Remove the included esp either manually or with a mod manager, depending on how you've installed it.
**Compatibility:**
Anything which edits the Pack Rat perk and its effects, but nothing else. However, this mod does work alongside other perk mods. It's just Pack Rat whose changes will be overwritten.
