Just the improvement I was looking for. I tried Elinore's Sink Overhaul, but it was way to jam packed and overwhelming for such a limited amount of space. I felt claustrophobic and couldn't breath. This is exactly the touches I was looking for. Thanks!
Love it, some simple additions make the sink feel so lived in. The only minor gripe I have is that I use 'The Sink Additional Vending Machines' by fredje323 and the commissary is right on top of one the added posters, but that's a minor issue and doesn't stop me endorsing this mod.
Tried this on my most recent play through, everything worked besides the cool blue lighting which was what I liked the most. Is there any particular reason why the lighting wouldn't work? I have the overhaul last in my mod order and it doesn't show any conflicts.
It's beautiful! I really just want a bathroom because it's weird that it doesn't have one (well not that weird given the Think Tank) but thank you for this mod!!
Yes, the only conflict is the Chemistry Set script I added, but you can just load this before JSUE to overwrite my scripts with theirs (which gives homemade chems once and breaks the sets). Or, if you want my script (which gives chems every 3 days) then load mine after, up to you.
elr0y's Chemistry Set Cooldown has an updated script for JSwayer, so I've added that below both this mod and JSUE (or you can merge The Sink and CSC to save a plugin spot.)
My usual problem with The Sink is that it just feels like a clinical lab and less like a player home. This changes that. It feels like a place that Mobius might have lived in a long time ago, a place that the Think Tank had renovated for the player's use. The inclusion of a bathroom just makes the place feel like a house, the addition of light clutter is nice, and I like the extra few features that you've included.
The terminal is a nice touch. I haven't gotten very far, so I don't know exactly how it updates, but the fact that in a DLC all about science, there was never a terminal in The Sink, it just bugged me. I also appreciate all of the chemistry sets, including the one in The Sink, because again, it's a DLC based around Science, why wouldn't the player be allowed to make some stimpaks or drugs?
What I really like, however, is how you didn't change up The Sink all that much. I've used Sink Overhauls before that made The Sink a much more impressive player home, sure, but they obliterated the charm of the original small home. This mod, it just adds a few things, moves a few things, and leaves what was already good intact.
