    Thanks for checking out the mod! Apologies if anyone had issues, I wrote the script with JohnnyGuitar NVSE and included a command ("clamp") that I forgot was from JG, but thanks to mezzokoko I've replaced the code so it shouldn't require it.

    Also, the mod is a master to avoid the Caravaneers' faces turning white, but feel free to remove the master flag if you don't mind the Michael Jackson syndrome :D

    July 17 - the latest update adds a lot of customization, but if you ignore the MCM stuff it basically just adds 7 new stops and improves the dialogue.

    Any chance this mod could proc random encounters from Immersive Fast-Travel Encounters (https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/73879), or have its own akin to Caravan Fast Travel TTW (https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/80203)? Love this mod as it completes the "slightly tougher fast traveling" vibe that I want in my playthroughs, but if not I totally understand - thanks!

    Boone's Companion Quest your travel guy gets shot by Legion as does his Brahmin at Bitter Springs, I know they are essential but its a bit silly and cheesy letting the Legion use them as a distraction while you kill them....The Legionnaires seem to target them exclusively. You may want to move the Caravan Man and his Brahmin to the back of the settlement near the Caves? Thanks nice mod...also maybe mix up the appearance a bit, getting Travel from the same guy in every settlement is a bit weird like a desert full of clones. Endorsed, Tracked all the good stuff.

    Don't know if its a glitch with the mod itself, a mod conflict, or working as intended but for me this mods fast travel system doesn't seem to effect hardcore needs when fast traveling. 
    I can travel from Freeside to the Mojave Outpost and even after upping the time scale my thirst, hunger and sleep don't budge. A real shame.

      I mean, you could just say that the dude offers you free food and water on the way, and then after that, you take a short nap so none of your needs decay.

    If you install this and the transporters mod, it's like there's two transport companies competing at each Freeside gate. I created a "Crimson Caravan Rest Stop Mod" specifically to compliment this mod. Great work.

      Leaning on the "lore-unfriendly" side, but I would also recommend the "NV Trains Redux" mod, it adds a second monorail to several areas. Now there are competing travel caravans and they're both being slowly driven out of business by Mr. House's industrial revolution.

      I'd rather have him asleep instead of joining fights and winning since he can't be killed.

    Funny situations:

    Primm
    Caravan guy joins NCR troopers fighting the escaped convicts.

    Novac
    Caravan guy fights raiders patrolling the town's outskirts.

    The only problem? He's invulnerable and I could just hide somewhere til he finishes them all off. My hero, the Invulnerable Caravaneer.
    Might I suggest though to make him at least neutral to everybody?

    Hey, I love this mod, but I also love Tale of Two Wastelands - any chance you'd make a version that adds caravan travel to the Capital Wasteland?

      I gues it doesn't go BETWEEN wastelands, but it does basically the same in DC. Now we just need a mod that makes the happy trails caravan have fast travel between wastelands.

    2. I have perks Reimagined, can I use just the living desert patch by itself?

      It is safe to install mid game and I'm sure you need both the main file and living desert patch.
