This seems to have a little bit of a conflict with FPGE.

Having finished the game with the Legion, I just got jumped by securitron assassins while looting the now empty New Vegas Medical Clinic.

One secruitron said "you're bad for Vegas" or something along those lines and then attacked, the rest just stood around repeating "True to Caesar" but not attacking

Only issue I have is that they tend to chase you anywhere, even inside buildings with non-hostile NPCs or locations where it wouldn't make sense for them to be there. Keeps me on my toes tho

This is a fun mod. I only just got around to actually testing it recently. Seems like something that really should've been in the base game. The robots are a little on the weak side so I buffed them in FNVedit and now they're a real challenge

reminds me of the van buden plot where a giant robot chases you throughout the whole game

So do they come after you after killing Mr House or only if you blow up his securitrons at the Fort?

The assassins will start spawning after Victor outside the Lucky 38 or Mr. House at the Securitron bunker go hostile. The script that handles it has a doonce value that is ticked once one of the above NPCs is hostile to the player.

This happens either when you destroy the securitrons at the fort or turn the lucky38faction hostile, which can be done by attacking any of the securtrions in the lucky 38, refusing to give mr house the platinum chip, or by using the terminal to unlock the door to the control room.

I just tested it and they do indeed spawn after killing mr. house.

Can I disable and enable the mod via load order mid play through?, and assuming that Mr.House Is dead it would function right?

They start attacking if the victor outside the lucky 38 or the Mr. House in the fort's factions are hostile to the player. I'm pretty sure that the victor is only in the lucky38faction which is set to not be hostile to player after Mr. House is killed. However I don't think the Mrhousefaction is. It could theoretically work. I've never tested it though.

If I was Mr. House, my last act alive would be to order every Securitron in existence to attack on sight the one who betrayed me. Only installing Yes Man in the mainframe would make them stop. Or maybe a disguise.

Why exactly does Victor refer to himself and Mr. House as "The."

I wanted him to originally say the line that the legion assassins say. But I just couldn't find all of the words for it in his dialogue.

lol, i have been trying to start a mod like this for a long time (it would be a securitron and a member of each three families), but i never went beyond the idea.

    I'm glad someone did. :)

Funny you mention that, I actually have a somewhat similar mod that I’ve been keeping to myself because I don’t know if it’s substantial enough to release. Long story short, if you destroy the securitrons in House’s bunker, he actually keeps his word about there being “no safe haven for you”: Specifically, *every* robot on the Strip will be trying to kill you as soon as you return from the Fort, and the only way to stop it will be fight your way back into the Lucky 38 and assassinate House. I found it kinda dumb to that you can just waltz back onto the Strip after betraying its ruler.

      "Substantial enough to release"?!?!
I've seen mods to re-texture the silverware!
While I like the idea behind this, a minor nit-pick or two if I may. I am sort of reticent about Victor leading the assassination squads - it just seems wrong. I really can't put it much better than that, but it just seems off.
That said, I really like this idea in total! The idea "fits" with the feel and mood of the game. I think your unreleased idea sounds even better.
Again, great idea for a mod! Keep up the good work, and I'll be trying this mod (or even better your unreleased one!) on my next play-through! Thanks for your time to make this - much appreciated by me and I'm sure many others here!

I would think that Mr. House wouldn't want stray bullets flying all over the Strip or inside the casinos. He seems to dislike that sort of thing with customers around.

Thanks for the encouragement bodieinsd! I'll probably be releasing it along with another idea I have for making House harder to kill. If you're interested, I could PM you my idea and you could tell me if it sounds good.

      @ShAd0WC0BRA
True, but I still think he would be would do everything in his power to keep you from setting foot on the Strip again. Robert House doesn't tolerate people who, in his own words, "conspire to destroy [his] property".
