    I didn't find the body. I went and entered Nipton Road General Store but I found a revolver.

    I'm having trouble with the textures too. Looks exactly like the screen deleted53738826 posted. Tested on a fresh profile in mod organizer 2 with no other mods installed and still had the weird looking textures. I think you may have packaged the textures in the wrong folder or something of that ilk.

    *Update 1*

    Fixed it -- issue was an error in the .esp's texture set. The diffuse map was in the normal map slot -- and the diffuse slot was empty.

    I also gave the deserted ranger the stock ranger helmet. Its only the esp you'll still need the main data files, just replace with the provided esp.

      Huge thanks, man! I tried to fix it on my spare time, but couldn't pinpoint the cause of the bug (mainly because it was working fine for me). Already updated the file with your esp. Thanks again for going the extra mile and fixing the mod for me, i appreciate it!

      My pleasure. You could probably do the same for the helmet texture you have for an unmarked helmet. You can always check a vanilla texture set to check which texture goes where.

    I'm having trouble with the textures . The armor would generate textures of its vicinity and surroundings and act like the octocamo from mgs 4 , which is very funny at the same time . What should I do ?

      Make sure you placed the texture on it's correct folder. When a mesh start appearing textures of surrounding objects/terrain, it's a case of missing textures for said mesh.

    When I was playing this, I did went to the Nipton Road General Store, I looked around to find no armor of sorts in there. Though I did find the journal, I did not find any armor though I might did it in a saved game so that might be the problem

      It's on the body of the deserted ranger, you can see him on the screenshots. If you have a way later save game (lvl 10, 15, etc) it might be more beneficial to buy it from the GR/CC.

      Roger that, though when I entered into the shack the only thing I could probably infer that something took place is the .44 Magnum on the floor but the body does not exist or something

      Yeah, i placed the .44 magnum on his hand, so he deffo should be there. Sorry that i can't help you out on this one, man! :(

    Alright, v1.0 coming up in the next hour.

    - Added a LAPD Combat Helmet, a very very crude version of the normal one. I'm still recommending the users to use the normal NCR variant;
    - Added the LAPD Combat set to Gun Runners (Protectron) and Crimson Caravan (Blake);
    - *Hopefully* fixed some bugs regarding textures.

    I'll try to add compatibility to other major mods that edit the ranger combat armor mesh.

    Very interesting mod, I always wanted to use the NCR ranger vet armor for my gunslinger/cowboy build because desert ranger and riot gear doesn't seem to fit very well, but the NCR symbols kind of bothered me.

    I suppose this is not compatible with adam and this addon https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55458, right?

      It should be, since it's a new armor with a unique file name for textures, but i use the original meshes for the armor. If adam changes them somehow, then i think it might not be compatible.

      I'm also not sure, but as far as i know (from editing textures and having problems with missing ones), the arms shouldn't be textured. I'll check this out now.

      Just checked out, it's the armor's fault lmao. Powerup (which i'm using for geck) prolly fucked up the texture path.

    Is it inside the Nipton Road General Store?

    I currently have NCR Rearment mod installed and when I went inside I just saw an NCR Infantry Mantle that's not set on player ownership

    When I disabled NCR Rearment, still the same thing, an owned NCR Mantle

      Yup, it is.
      It might be NCR Rearmament , even with the file disabled on your mod loader. I recently installed Upgrades From The Commonwealth and it still showed the changed models even with the .esp unchecked, i had to delete all the files. Try to put my .esp on the lowest place possible, might work.
      I'am working on the final v1.0 now, i'll double check the armor. It works fine on my game, but i dunno, gamebryo engine is weird sometimes.
