Somehow doesn't work for me :(

I manually installed the 50-image version esp into the data folder, along with the \textures\interface\loading\CustomLoadingScreenz folder. I then placed 50 .dds images into that customloadingscreenz folder with their names being 001.dds to 050.dds like I was supposed to. After that, I enabled the esp.

Though when I'm in game, the loading screens are magenta. I don't know why it's not working as I have no other menu or loading screen mods, even checked fnvedit to make sure everything looked good.

Real sorry for the late reply. The pink loading screen means it's showing a loading screen with a missing texture, this could be due to many reasons.
If you have the GECK modding editor installed, load up the esp through there and search for customloadingscreenz in the EDID search box, you can preview the loading screens there to find any missing textures. To troubleshoot I would first make sure your mod manager has the new folder enabled, and that the textures folder is located inside where the data folder is.

LMK if you're still having issues, I've planned on restructuring my mods to make them simpler to use but it's all been in the back burner so to speak lol

So I'm having a strange problem. When I first load New Vegas, the images load just fine, but once I start the game, I start getting the magenta screens and the images stop loading, and if I back out to the main menu I get more magenta screens with an occasional image that I added. I know I have the folder completely full and everything is named correctly. Any idea what may be causing this? I did uninstall and reinstall the mod manually (rather than using the modloader to download the mod) and at one point tried replacing all the old images with 100 new images. If I uninstall and reinstall the old images appear in the folder. Any ideas on what may be causing the magenta screens after the game loads?

Another thing maybe worth noting is I put the images into paint and resized them to fit my monitor, but I can't see how that would cause the problem because they all have the exact same resolution and a lot of the images just won't load anyways.

Load up the mod through GECK, you don't need to set the plugin as active unless you want to edit the loading screens, in the object window, under the "Miscellaneous" section go into the "Load Screen" tree. Expand the interface tree until you reach the Extra/DIY loading screen section. Click on the Extra/DIY loading screen entry to show all of the loading screen IDs for that folder.

You should now have a list of all the loading screen IDs from the mod, right click on any ID and click "edit". A window should now pop up with the loading screen image and its info, if no image is displayed and is instead just a blank screen then the ID has a missing DDS texture. Missing textures cause the pink screens you're getting. On the top right of the window you can see "Loading Screen Image" with the full path to the image, if you click the edit button to the right you can search for any DDS image in the Data\Textures\ directory to use instead of the one assigned.

If the GECK crashes when you try to open the loading screen ID, then the DDS image texture it's trying to open is causing issues and you may have to reconvert your images, try DXT1, DXT5, R4G5B4, or R8G8B8. I used paint.net to make R8G8B8 (uncompressed) no mipmaps DDS images for my loading screens.

Take a look at the load screen IDs to make sure none of them are missing an image texture, scroll all the way down to the last one and check that it has an image. I hope this made sense, let me know if it didn't and you're still having trouble.

Edit: I noticed you mentioned you used paint to resize your images (can paint edit DDS images?), the mod is looking for DDS images, "001.dds" for example so they have to be converted to DDS. I'm not sure if the game supports JPEG/PNG textures, I haven't tried. Oh and make sure you delete any number IDs you won't be using, you can load up the mod with xEdit and select all the IDs not being used and delete/remove them from the mod, nothing complicated, takes a few minutes to do.

I've noticed that the template mods have gotten a high number of re-downloads, not sure if people are having issues with the mod but if anyone needs any help installing/setting up the mod, feel free to leave a comment here with the issue and I'll try to provide assistance.

Update: NEW 999ExtraLoadScreenz.esp added, which is compatible with the CustomLoadScreenz.esp as they use different IDs and folders.
Also after installing the New Vegas Reloaded mod, to fix the out of memory CTDs I kept getting, loading through different cells takes a bit longer now so I do have a use for my mod after all :D

    Original Post:
Inspired by the "274 NEW Atomic Loading Screens NON-REPLACER" mod https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/50585
My mod is compatible with that mod so you can have up to 400 LOAD SCREENS O_o also both mods are "zMerge friendly"

I don't have more than 200 load screens so I won't be needing a bigger version, but if anyone wants a 300 load screens version or EVEN 500 LOAD SCREENS D: ... Just let me know and I'll see if I can make an update.

I doubt this mod has any bugs but if I made an error plz let me know :)

Also while the new load screens do show up fine in the main menu, since I have my game installed on an SSD. Most of the loading through interiors is less than a second, so sometimes I don't even get a load screen, rendering this mod kind of reduntant.......
