you want proof that Nexus hates its users and modders just look at the fact that we now have to accept Th3Overseer has left nexus cause of them doing the whole "mod packs" thing so a mod like this that "fixes issues" is just kicking dirt into the memory of Th3Overseer. hope you people are happy now we wont get another like Th3Overseer again

This mod just fixes general issues and was available when the th3overseer was on Nexus, they even addressed it on the comment pages of the touched mods. Move that anger on to more productive outlets.

      Why shame Nexus for this?

It's Overseer that left because of pettiness. The feature Nexus introduced is great, deleting mods is a shitty affair.

Yeah, how dare I want to retain creative control of my own work that I made, instead of letting some lying corporation line their own pockets with the work I made, while compensating me jack s#*! and also lying about my character and censoring me when I had the audacity to publicly tell people what was happening?

I mean, it's not like mod authors are people with rights or anything stupid like that. We're just robots that exist to churn out free content for people like you to consume, while you simultaneously insult us. I mean, why should I have the right to decide whether I want the work that I made to be public or not? That'd just be silly!

Just a friendly heads up, you probably wouldn't like my mods anyways. They tend to have a dim view of exploitative, profit-driven liars, and somehow I don't think that's a message you could sympathize with. I'll spare you the heartache of experiencing that, and just block you from downloading any of them in the future, okay? You're welcome!

(Quick, someone get tech support, the soulless content-creation robot is malfunctioning and getting snippy with entitled children!)

You may have had a right to be an a**hole, doesn't mean you should be one, and I won't cry over Nexus stopping you from being one.

Removing mods is just an a**hole thing to do. You can break dependancies, screw over other people's work (like this mod, however many hours the guy here put would become worthless if you removed your mods for example), and you simply deprive others of content that was already created, and you have no cost to leaving, nor profit in removing.

No one is entitled to have you mantain mod, but if you posted it, it's part of internet, and part of the cathedral that modding community as the whole is building.

And I won't say that Nexus is crystal clear, perfectly site ran by the nicest do-gooders or anything, but this particular issue I think they did the right decision on. Adding archives that is, not censoring you.

Also, too late with the blocking, I already downloaded your mod series before. I don't care about "corporations" or "profit-driven liars", I care about average players that I wish could experience New Vegas at it's best even in 10 years time, and not feel like they missed out because someone decided to hide their mods.

And yet I haven't removed fuckall, because I don't feel like its fair to punish everyone simply because the site is run by exploitative liars, and that a vocal minority of users are entitled children like you that think that mod authors owes them something.

But yes, clearly I'm just such an asshole for wanting to maintain the ability to remove my own work if I choose. If only I could be as morally upstanding and polite as you, a person that expects free content to be delivered to you on a silver platter, while you insult the people making it for not smiling widely enough as you and nexus™ hold hands and piss on us.

It's funny that you're trying to take a high-handed "well it's for the good of the community" stance now, because I can't think of a single mod author that ever wants to ever deal with people like you, that immediately start screeching about how awful we all are when we ask to be treated like human beings with rights, but balk at the concept of ever saying: "Wow, thank you for dumping years of your life into providing this free content that I enjoy."

I can think of no greater blights on the "community" than the dual specters of censorious corporate cowards stripping away our creative rights to line their own pockets at the top, and entitled backbiting children like you throwing tantrums when your free content pipeline is shut off at the bottom. It's this precise behavior that makes so many mod authors in the community want nothing more to do with it.

You can keep telling yourself how you're a good little martyr for the community, and I know you will, but don't you think that rings just the tiniest bit hollow when any fucking mod author can point to people like you and say: "I'm so fucking glad I left this community, because now I don't have to deal with this level of corporate-shilling entitled belligerence ever again?"

I used to like your mods but seeing you act like this has made me remove them permanently. I really like the Voice Actor for Vincent in Eliza. Sorry I won't have him in my new playthrough, but you're just pathetic, like really, honest-to-god a whiny little child. You're Brian Griffen from Family Guy. Entitled and ridiculous any criticism

also, ELIZA BREAKS THE GAME, FIX IT, OR DON'T, YOU DON'T CARE.

I still find it amusing how often nexus users jump to "MOD AUTHORS ARE ENTITLED" as their go-to attempt at devastating verbal warfare, despite the fact that those darn entitled mod authors provide you people with free content, while you sit there and engage in schoolyard namecalling and act like "I'M NOT GONNA REPLAY THEM AGAIN, HMPH!" is some sort of grand, principled stand.

"You're soooo immature!!" is already the rallying cry of middle-schoolers with unfettered internet access, but I do appreciate the addition of the Family Guy analogy just to really hammer the punchline home. I'd praise your comedic sensibilities if I thought it was intentional.

I don't really get the problem some people have with mod collections, its not like its stealing content and integrating it into someone else's work, it seems to just download each mod individually so mod authors get credit for the downloads still and otherwise doesn't affect their work.

I'm very anti corporate and pro freedom, and personally the negative reaction seems overblown, but at the end of the day people do have the right to overreact.

In a vacuum, they're whatever. The issue on my end is that nexus announced this new "feature", and then declared that all mods uploaded to their site belong to them to do with as they please, and the people who made the mods are no longer allowed to remove them for any reason, and there won't be any option for any of us to opt out of the mod pack scheme. And of course, only premium users are allowed to access mod packs, and whaddaya know, as soon as they unrolled them, they also changed it so being a premium member is now a monthly subscription fee.

This was all done retroactively, and in the announcement, they claimed "We're listening to your feedback", but they then proceeded to ignore every single grievance or suggestion that any mod authors voiced. When I called them out for it, I was permanently banned from ever posting images, because "Complaint or discussion regarding moderation act in public" (exact words) is against the rules.

Strange issue where I CTD entering the saloon in Boulder City. I turned everything off except Th3 Overseer's mods and started a new game and the same crash still happened. Crash stops when I turn off Eliza and the initiation mod.

After a little digging, according to another commenter Eliza and the Initiation both have ITMs of the big horn saloon (I guess this means they are overwriting the Saloon without actually changing anything) that are causing the crashes. I really don't know what I'm doing with NVedit but I deleted the Big Horn cells in both of those files and the crashes are gone. Did it actually fix it or did it just screw something else up? Time will tell.

There's two attack on sight veteran/prime legionaries in cottonwood cove from this that set the whole camp off despite me being neutral to the legion. The veteran is from the initiation normally and the prime was only showing up with this mod active.

Not sure if this being my first time to the area and not having done anything related to the legion yet may affect it or not.

Problem is some Legionary NPCs here are using reused packages meant for Cottonwood Cove NPCs. Simple solution is to remove the packages from them in FNVEdit.

Eliza is crashing on startup. Did some digging and thought it was khan initiate at first, but nah, Eliza. Disabling just Eliza fixes the crashing and everything runs smoothly.

I'm wondering if this is a conflict of some kind? I find it strange since nothing is missing masters, I thought missing masters was the only way FNV could crash on startup, but I guess not. If this can't be replicated by yourself, then maybe its something conflicting with Eliza? I wouldn't know where to begin with that however since Eliza doesn't seem to conflict with anything.

Could it be a file within Eliza? I just have a hard time understanding how that would crash FNV on startup. Any help is much appreciated.

Okay, since this mod page is the only non-locked th3overseer's mods related page, i'm gonna ask my question here.
I was playing the depths of depravity, completed the quest where i had to retrieve NCR intel case, gave it to April Morgan, received payment and the quest ended. I saw on Youtube that she is supposed to give Drown in the Dark quest right after this, but she can only answer some questions for me. Also, I saw that after completing the Humboldt Ranch quest, a courier is supposed to give a letter that tells to go to Vault 19 to see Scooter, which also didn't happen to me. So, basically, I am locked from the rest of the quest. Can anyone tell me, how to solve these issues, or where else can i ask this question?

Just an FYI for anyone wondering, the North Road fixes on this page have been made redundant in version 1.1 of the North Road. If it weren't for this bug fix compilation, I wouldn't have even been aware of those issues.

I would highly recommend using the individual patches at this point. Given that th3overseer's update also fixes things not covered by my mod, The North Road patch is strictly redundant and inferior. The only benefit to the merged fix over the individual files was saving on load order spaces, which is now redundant anyway thanks to the mod limit fix. In theory I don't think it should break anything, but I imagine th3overseer's fix for the Legion enemies failing vanilla questlines is probably cleaner than mine and is thus preferable.

My fix was just removing any Fort legionaries from the North Road, and putting generic wasteland-spawning legion veterans in their place.

Hello, don't know if this goes here cause it is an (visual) conflict rather than a bug, but Eliza and "Wasteland Flora and Terrain Overhaul" from vurt have a small problem with trees in Red Rock Canyon:
    - one tree stands right between two briges up to the Cazador canyon leaving very little space to get around (makes the great khans look rather shortsighted to not cut that tree than building those bridges) and
    - there is another tree flying besides the western end of the bridge spanning the Red Rock canyon (ever more to the west than the ranger station), an well placed rockformation would be all it takes to fix that one.
