Adds new explosions, projectiles, muzzle flashes, critical disintegration effects, and textures for the Tesla-Beaton Prototype and Elijah's Jury-Rigged Tesla Cannon. The Tesla-Beaton Prototype now fires orange lightning with a matching tesla impact explosion. Elijahs' Jury-Rigged Tesla Cannon now has a green-themed texture with matching effects.

This mod changes the Tesla-Beaton Prototype's projectile and muzzle flash to orange (these meshes made by YanL) and enables its hit explosion with a new orange tesla explosion effect, plus an orange critical disintegration effect patterned after the standard Tesla Cannon's.

For users with Old World Blues, Elijah's Jury-Rigged Tesla Cannon has been given a unique texture that makes it look quite a bit different from the Tesla-Beaton Prototype (weapon textures made by fake333) and gives it a full set of green effects, including projectile, muzzle flash, critical disintegration effect, and hit explosion.

For users without Old World Blues, I have added a new unique Tesla Cannon to the base game which you can find in the wasteland. It is in an unmarked location, though it is a location visited in a quest, so you may want to check Locations below. It isn't a direct copy of Elijah's Jury-Rigged Tesla Cannon - instead, it's a higher damage (both from the direct hit and the object effect), lower health, lower critical chance, less accurate, slower firing Tesla Cannon that consumes more ammunition than either the standard Tesla Cannon or the Tesla-Beaton Prototype.

I have also eliminated the visual bug on the Tesla-Beaton Prototype where its lightning effects appear to be green when looking from the front, and I reduced the alpha value on the glass parts so that it's about the same brightness as the other Tesla cannons (before this change, it would glow so bright indoors that you couldn't see the lightning effect - see Optional Files below if you do not like this change).

I really liked using fake333's weapon textures and YanL's orange effects for the Tesla-Beaton Prototype, but unfortunately neither of those mods incorporated YUP's fix for re-enabling the Tesla Cannon's incredible lightning-filled explosion where its beam hits. Thankfully, due to the permissions on both of their mods, and with some extra effects meshes made by me, these can all be put together.

The Supercharged Tesla Cannon (base game version only) is found with the dead Brotherhood of Steel Paladins outside the gates of Nellis Air Force Base. Though most players don't try to tank the artillery, it's recommended that you seek out the weapon after accessing Nellis so that it doesn't get blasted around by the artillery explosions.

REQUIREMENTS
Versions are available either for use with the base game, or with Old World Blues.

KNOWN ISSUES
None. Please report anything you find in the comments.

CONFLICTS
This mod will conflict with anything that alters the Tesla-Beaton Prototype, its object effect, or Elijah's Jury-Rigged Tesla Cannon. Fixes from YUP are incorporated into this mod.

RECOMMENDATIONS
I recommend the Tesla Cannon Animation Fix by Hopper31 and Hitman47101 for those who are able to utilize it.

OPTIONAL FILES
I have included an alternate mesh (no plugin) which changes the Tesla-Beaton Prototype's glass parts back to their original brightness (see mod images). Note that they were so bright before that they would glow a solid color when in dark indoor spaces (the other Tesla cannons do not do this).

INSTALLATION
Only download ONE of the two main files, depending on your preference. Put the contents of the mod folder (the folder with the .esp inside of it) into your Data folder, or use a mod manager. If you download the alternate model (Tesla-Beaton Prototype brightness change reversion), place the "meshes" folder into your Data folder and click yes to overwrite (if you use a mod manager, just press yes to activate the alternative mesh file). To uninstall, delete the mod's files (.esp, meshes, and textures) or uninstall using a mod manager.

CREDITS
The weapon meshes come from Weapon Mesh Improvement Mod by Roy Batty (I changed some material properties/colors in Nifskope and added the necessary custom textures). The new weapon textures are from fake333, and the Tesla-Beaton Prototype's orange muzzle flash and projectile are from YanL (the rest of the new effect meshes/textures are original).

ADDENDUM
I have made a lot of mods. Because I like to create different versions togive the user plenty of options, it's extremely difficult for me to bundle my mods together. I recommend getting the FNV Mod Limit Fix by iranrmrf, or try using a tool like Merge Plugins by Mator.
