There was a mod similar to this but it makes female clothing be similar to the male clothing. Do you or anyone else know the name of the mod, since I cannot remember or find it.

From the screenshots it seems to me that in at least two dress models there is still the small defect in the texture of the collar that is present in normal clothes. It's not a serious problem, I think I'll install this mod the same, but I'd like to be sure

Got it---it's a small alpha-cahannels issue--i'll mend it. I can't imagine it being the meshes 'cause they're original game files.
Thanks so much --shall upload an update---installing the update should really solve things. The file structure is correct.
      Cheers-

Yes, it is certainly a defect of the original dress, I noticed it ten minutes after starting the game for the first time, just after leaving the house of Dr. Mitchell: the bartender Trudy wears just this dress ........
Since you seem very prepared, unlike me, I would like to ask you a question, it is a curiosity that I have had for a long time. Would it be possible to combine two dresses? Use the top of one and the bottom of another to create a hybrid. In addition to those of the Prospectors there are many other types of clothing and in my opinion interesting combinations could be made. The subsequent coloring for you does not seem to be a big problem ......

      Hi there,
Yes, it's possible. I'm currently working on some clothes, which I've modified in Blender.
It's a rather tedious process because it is like creating an entirely new form.
For example, I've been working on the Merchant Cap and have deleted those ugly googles on it.
Next, I'd have to import that in Nifskope and overwrite an existing game file and rename it...
Should you have something in mind that you'd like to see, please make some suggestions and
I'll see what can be done. Thanks for the info about the dress; I run several tests and came up with
the same conclusion--it' the mesh from the original--phew...

I always thought that the bottom of the Merc Charmer outfit is very feminine, among other things, it is one of the very few miniskirts that the game offers. In my opinion, working on it a little you can get a very good result. I also thought about the lower part of the Wasteland wanderer outfit. Since it is "neutral" (light-colored and linear-shaped trousers and boots) in my opinion it can be combined with many shirts or suits, both male and female. The part under the belt of the Tenpenny's suit could also be interesting, but I don't know if it is usable. I hope I tickled your fantasy .......

Yep, great, --took a look at your suggestions and...you surely have an eye for possibilties. 'Must confess, have not played the game as such---just scares the 'hell-out-me', so most outfits I see are either in Nifskope, Blender or from screenshots. I'll give it a try and send some info about progress , as it comes. I've already made some daring mash-ups, as they're called and shall upload some mods quite soon. I´m going to upload a screenshot or two of some mishaps during the process--just for giggles--not to be taken seriously--seeya 'round

Somewhere on Nexus I'm sure I've seen a mod that meshes between the Dirty pre-War spring outfit (above) and the Merc charmer outfit (below) using only the socks and boots from this set. It seems that the skirt has been shortened, or perhaps the tears in the lower part have been removed. I don't remember what the mod is called but among those of the clothes there is certainly. In my opinion the stylistic result is not exactly beautiful and all the colors remain the original ones, but it is the demonstration that the meshup can be done

What do you think of changing the colors of Prospector outfit, Field hand outfit and Settler outfit as you did with the Caravaneer ?

      Hi, sorry, was engaged...
I'm working on the trenchcoat for female characters and it's such an ache because it is firmly biped to the male character--I think the makers had their own 'adam and eve' idea with this one.
Have removed the feather from the old cowboy hat and much more. I think I'll quit the coat if it does'nt work soon and upload what's ready.
Fieldhand Outfit-??-gotta look again, but yes can do, actually already have and just have to compile and upload.
      I like your suggestions btw***

Sorry if I disturb you, but I have a little doubt regarding the installation. You say that is sufficent just to copy the "Texture" folder of the mod into Data. But inside Data the Texture folder already exists, so I imagine that if I try to copy it the PC will ask if I want to replace "your" Texture folder with the one already present. Should I copy the "armor" folder or even the "prospectors" folder inside my original Texture folder?

      Hi there,
It's always best to make a back-up of what's going to be overwritten, i.e. if you already have a folder inside your Data folder, then yes, go ahead and make that back-up--*Never hurts and you can always reverse things*
Inside the Data-folder there are two BSA-folders called 'Textures' and 'Textures 2' respectively. These are compressed game folders(BSA) and cannot be overwritten or corrupted because they are packed and unaccesible, unless they are unpacked. If you have been using mods that changed or relied on the the 'prospectors'-outfit, then you should have the extracted version of the outfit from the game-folder in your Data-folder. Simply put, you can only overwrite an existing, extracted 'Textures'-folder, just like the ones you would see in most mods.
An example: if your 'Textures'-folder included textures from various mods and you overwrite it (copy+paste) with the 'Textures'-folder in the mod I made, then everything in your Data-folder structure would remain the same except for the one 'prospectors' outfit I have modified. So, you can go on and just overwrite the 'Textures'-folder, as long as you are not using some other mod that has also modified that version of the 'prospectors'-outfit and which you may want want to keep. Overwriting folders in general, does not mean erasing all the contents in it---if your PC asked you if it should replace the 'Textures' folder, it is basically asking if it should overwrite a file with the same name, or/and if it should add files to the 'Textures-folder. Everything else remains untouched---it works like most programm-updates work.
Well, hope this repy gives some answers to your question--please, do feel free to ask any questions concerning the installation process. At most, some screenshots might be helpful to point to things. Anyways, always good to ask....bye for now**

Thanks, you've been very clear. Forgive my ignorance but I'm not a very "computer" type and every time I see something a little different from the usual I get a lot of doubts and perplexities. Usually I let FOMM do everything, and I don't see which and how many folders should be put in one place or another. The last time I was forced to reinstall everything, I had replaced the Hard Disk, I went crazy to put NVSE, 4Gb and FOMM back, but I managed to do it, by reading and watching tutorials. Sometimes, however, as in this case, I get lost in the proverbial glass of water, and think that my nikname is the shark
