*** This weapon is also available as part of my NIF-Bashed Weapons Mega-Pack ***

This mod requires textures from Honest Hearts, but the DLC is not needed to use the weapon in game.

DESCRIPTION
This weapon was loosely inspired by the EAA/Tanfoglio Thor (also known as the Raptor), a competition target pistol built on a 1911 frame. Gamers may also recognize this as Liquid Ocelot's weapon from Metal Gear Solid 4.

I started with the .45 Auto Pistol mesh and removed the slide, barrel and trigger. I then added the skeletonized trigger from A Light Shining in Darkness, the baseplate from That Gun, the receiver from the .22 SMG, a section of rail from the Marksman Carbine, the barrel from the Varmint Rifle (resized), the handguard from the Sawed-Off Shotgun (retextured and resized) and bits and pieces from the Single Shotgun to make up the inner barrel that is only visible during the reloading animation.

Gameplay-wise, this weapon does the same damage as the Hunting Revolver, but is twice as accurate and can be smuggled into Strip casinos with a Sneak skill of 50 or higher. It can be modded with the .44 Magnum Revolver Scope. I've also added the weapon to all the appropriate form lists, so that all perks and challenges that affect pistols (i.e. The Professional) will work as expected.

LOCATION
The weapon can be purchased from the Gun Runners and other vendors across the Wasteland, or found in random loot drops. Of course, if you're feeling lazy, you can always use the following console command (Substitute ## with the Mod Index of the plugin in your load order):

player.AddItem ##000ADE 1;Gives 1 .45-70 Competition Target Pistol

The Mod Index is a two-character hexadecimal code, with a value between 00 and FF, that can be found using a mod manager. It should be listed somewhere beside the name of the plugin. After finding the Mod Index, open the console in game using the tilde (~) key, and type Player.AddItem <FormID> 1

INSTALLATION
Extract all the files in the archive to your New Vegas data folder (which is the same folder where FalloutNV.esm is located) and then enable the ESP either in your mod manager of choice, or under "Data Files" in the launcher that runs when you start up New Vegas.
