No no, its like they sent backup sentry bots as well to help the bots that came from the vertibird guard the crash while the enclave reorganize and return to the crash site but never do.

How would all of these sentries fit in the vertibird? If they were "sent out to guard the crash", where did they come from? Why did nobody recover the crash?
Well for starters, the enclave have been missing in the west for years, they are only somewhat a thing elsewhere. And yes most of the new bots are sent there to guard it and the bots and the wreckage never got reclaimed. Where they come from is probably a mystery like most things in fallout, but they were most likely programmed to roll out to the crash once they found where.
