Hey guys I figured sharing this plugin with you. What it does is it puts the UMP-45 into the leveled lists so you'd find the gun and it's mods being sold by vendors and you'd occassionally find the weapon being used by npcs here and there. This plugin requires Honest Hearts since I also implemented it to be able to use the Grunt Perk. If you wish to update the plugin further go on ahead. Cheers!

EDIT2: This is all done using scripts so you don't have to worry about form lists being overwritten. To use this new esp without issues, delete the ESP that comes with the mod and use this instead. I renamed the esp so I could recognize it easier in my load order. As always, if you want to edit something go on ahead.
oh its no problem at all man, I just think it would be nice to implement it into the actual mod if that’s alright with you? maybe you could show me how to write a script to implement future stuff into the levelled lists, it would help a lot
You can add the gun into the lvl lists manually using geck, no scripts required if you wanted, that's a good way to do that sort of thing without scripting knowledge but if hes willing to teach, I'd listen lol
Explain how adding them manually is a waste of time, I'm not saying I want you to at all but its not a waste of time, plenty of people do it, and I can do it manually I bet faster then a novice coder could write the script, its not a waste of time if your quick with it and know your way around geck very well..

It can't use 45 Auto Hollow Point rounds for some odd reason. Could you update or make a little temp patch file available to add both .45 Auto +P as well as Hollow Point to the UMP maybe?
Perhaps the base damage of this gun should be the Hollow Point or +P damage seeing as how it already does a ton of damage.
PS: Is there any reason why the UMP's yellow projectiles fly very slowly through the air. Slower than any gun I've seen for some weird reason. I'm starting to see this gun mod as very very quirky. I would blank out the mid-air projectiles altogether.
Hey, looks great. I am a gun nut, and I know the UMP uses .45 IRL (I have fired one IRL) but I changed it to 10mm for my game. I searched and searched... there isn't a single good 10mm SMG mod anywhere. The vanilla 10mm SMG is ugly as hell, and 10mm is plentiful and packs a fair punch, I'd like a gun to use it up. Any chance of a real 10mm SMG, like the 10mm MP5/10?
Edit.. can confirm, as others have said, the UMP IS NOT in the kitchen. I was able to spawn it however, using player.additem ##000ADF 1 ## is your load ID, for me it was 71. Also, once again, as usual with weapon mods, the guy added the UMP to super mutants and they don't have the animations for them....thus they use their fists this happens with so many damn weapon mods in NV and Fallout 4. Also, when the gun does spawn on a human, its with no ammo. Sad, because the weapon does look and sound nice, but it breaks enemies it spawns on (unless you are ok with them being unarmed)
Do you like the IRL UMP45? I used to have one but I left it in my shed during the winter (Shitty 80 year old barn with dry rot and s#*!, I decided not to buy anymore guns because that was irresponsible of me, and the thing became victim to hydro-weathering and was rendered unusable.) I loved the thing. Had a 45 Girls Frontline Charm on the Latches for a sling. 10/10 would buy again if I wasn't so forgetful with 6000 Dollar firearms.
I could be mistaken, but it sounds like you might have to edit the gun in the GECK to use "NVDLC02AmmoList45Auto" under the ammunition section in the stats page.
