    YUP makes things fairer...this mod reverts it to a power fantasy cake walk....whatever floats you're boat I guess, if you like sailing through the game with no challenge its up to you right?... :P

      I don't think any of the changes here are that extreme. Yup doesn't make the game way harder, so this doesn't make it way easier.

      Besides you can always scroll past a mod if you don't like it

      The Broad Machete being an improved holdout weapon makes the game 340% easier ;)

    The Skilled trait exploit is pretty beneficial.

    The one where you start with the Skilled trait then reselect it on leaving the Goodsprings area to get the skill bonus twice without the XP loss increasing.

      Sorry, it's not really in the scope of this mod to bring back straight-up skill or XP exploits.

    Thanks for this, something else I was using required YUP but the fact that fixer doesn't cure addiction just seriously displeased my autism. Now I can maintain my head cannon that fixer was sold as a "temporary fix" in order for people to experience placebo and keep buying it.

      YUP makes Fixer temporarily cure addiction, which is what its in-game description said. Using YUP, you need to go to a doctor to permanently cure addiction. In the vanilla game (without YUP), Fixer cures addiction permanently, contrary to its description. This mod makes Fixer permanently cure addiction again.

    In order to avoid YUP dependency, couldn't you just make deliberate ITMs on a plugin with FalloutNV.esm as its only master?

      The problem isn't that it's dependent on YUP - it's only for users of YUP and has to be dependent on that master. The thing is, it automatically gets associated with every other DLC as well because I naturally use the all-DLC version of YUP and loading that master to create the plugin automatically loads all the other masters as well.

      Might seem obvious but, just to make sure, does using "Clean Unused Masters" on the new .esp do nothing?

      Open YUP in FNVEdit and remove Fixer from Indigestibles. You will still get the changes YUP made to the script for deleting Ultrajet.. You will no longer need this mod for the Fixer fix.

      Cleaning the unused masters results in the mod no longer being dependent even on YUP. I'm just getting into FNVEdit and cleaning things up (only used GECK beforehand). Does it break the script that re-adds the Broad machete to the form list if that weapon isn't contained in the master that it's dependent on?

      Conceivably, this could become dependent on other DLCs in the future if people find other worthwhile reversals...

      Actually, this mod also changes Fixer such that it displays the correct effect text: "Removes Addictions" instead of saying it's temporary when it's permanent.
