Hi, is this like a direct port of the original vampire mod or is this something completely different? I'm just wondering if it's the original but patched or if it's a new concept.
Hi, i wanted to thank you for reviving this mod :D Also does anyone know where is the haven? The prince Cole gave me a key to the haven, he did talk bout a monument or something.
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/79884/?tab=description&jump_to_comment=121428471 I made a further updated version. I kind of feel bad about posting this here but I've told the mod author to upload my fixed files to this page and I've gotten no answer so I guess I'll be maintaining this mod for now.
how is Sleep supposed to work? im spamming it on Enemies and all that is happening is that they lose 1HP and the Shild symbole appears beside their health bar.
Little PSA : If you can't feed on the very first corpse after you become a vamp, even though you are spamming every possible key on your keyboard, it's likely because you have a mod that refunctions the default use key on a corpse (Loot Menu is a likely and popular suspect). Rebind Loot menus "take" key or whatever other mod might be using it as well and it should work.
Also, if you want to get RID OF SUN DAMAGE/BLUR
1)You're going to need the Fallout New Vegas GECK, available for download through Steam, or on Bethsoft for non-Steam versions of the game. 2)Load Game_bloodlines.esp as the active file in GECK, uncheck all other files, the GECK will load required masters automatically. 3)Navigate to the Scripts category and look for BloodlinesGeneralQuestScript. 4)Right-click and select edit. 5)At the very bottom of said script you'll find the entry ";Sun damage" 6)Delete everything from that point except the "END" line at the bottom 7)Save changes.
Done. The sun damage and blur effect will trouble you no longer! (It will also disable blood point drain during daytime. Naturally you can delete only parts of the script if you'd like to keep certain mechanics of the daytime penalties, but don't mess with this if you don't know what you're doing).
At some point, I'd like to write a seperate script that adds a new perk, or perhaps ties this mechanic into an existing perk that deactivates the sun damage mechanic. A high level perk, level45+ perhaps, in order to balance it. But for now, this is a quick and dirty solution to the sun lovers among us.
any progress on that perk? I've been tinkering on this mod too, I managed to fix the fire vulnerability bug which basically decreases that stat constantly and never stops, leading to fires oneshotting you. I've also turned all the disciplines into quest items so they can't be taken away and make the game crash in legion arenas or places where they take your equipment. I'm waiting for OP to respond at this point, either I give the file to him so he can upload it or I can just upload the file myself.
I had this same problem but I found the solution. If you're spamming the E key on the corpse and nothing is happening, chances are Loot Menu is the culprit (or any other mod that wants you to use that key on a corpse). I rebound the key in the MCM and it worked like a charm.
Cant wait for Tzi and hopefully its warform its my favorite clan. ALSO for those looking for a great mod to go with this one i recommend Fallout Heroes if you choose the evil trait you can find beings with power you can pretend to Diablerize for extra powers the hemokenisis lets you make blood packs from corpses.

Paranoia works just fine...
