Save yourself some time. If your comment is "X and Y aren't compatible", our response is "WE DO NOT CARE", as we continue playing our game with both X and Y functioning harmoniously.

Is this whole organizer a bunch of left wing mods made to justify their respective creator's insecurities? I can see a lot of effort went into these mods, and
there is some good content here, but from what I can tell, a lot of it is just a bunch of arguably racist, downright disrespectful changes that remove a lot of
careful design and story nuance that the writers and designers (i.e. PEOPLE A LOT MORE TALENTED THAN YOU) created to make these games timeless.

Think of "It ain't broke don't fix it"  but reverse it, and break what has already been made perfect and timeless, and you have this collection.

There are far better ways to mod your game to unrecognition (for better or for worse) than this steaming pile of current day garbage.

It's jam packed full of low blows, racism and dead horse beating.

As I said before, lots of the mods in this pack are fairly mundane, but a good chunk is just leftwing nonsense.

A fairly obvious example: Making Amata black for some fuckin' reason. Not only is this horribly unnecessary because you see Amata onscreen for maybe an hour at most and 10 minutes if you blaze through the story without going back to V101, and I can see an argument where "Oh if she doesnt get a lot of onscreen time then why make a fuss!" annd to that I say, YOU'RE JUST FUCKING RACIST!  This is TEXTBOOK racism against white people.

What's also textbook white racism is changing all the slavers to be white. Now I know that sounds bat, but my point is the devs had a bunch of the slavers black because, well lets paint a picture. Go to NOVAC or megaton, pick out some random shmuck and ask him "Hey do you know what the American Civil War was?" in all likelihood this person will tell you to f*#@ off. In post war slavery, it doesn't matter what color you are, just how useful you are. In fallout 4 You can save a white ghoul kid and sell him to a white slaver named buck. So making that change is not only horribly lore inaccurate, it's racist.

I'm not even going to pretend the modder had any idea on the subject of the Enclave. Having anyone and everyone know what the enclave were planning on the rig and calling them fascist (ON THE EAST COAST NO LESS) Is just stupid because only the Chosen one and the people on the Valdez knew what really happened. It's all shrouded in rumors and hearsay, even among rank and file Enclave members.  When the modder calls them "fascists" he is objectively correct, but it's a low blow that kills the nuance that the enclave had in favor of "HURDUR FASCISM BAD!"

This was supposed to be a short review.

Good changes and TTW integration, but it's trying to current day you every step of the way, cannot recommend.  I have to give this mod a solid 1/piss

Oh this is gonna be good. We'll respond to your "critiques".

      - Yes, our politics are on the left! How did you know? :O gaspers
      - We agree, the designers of Fallout New Vegas and a lot of mods are more talented than us. Unlike some others, we have no shame in admitting comparative inadequacy.
      - If you think anything this patches is perfect, you should raise your standards. Expect better. Even the devs will admit nothing they make is perfect.
      - Current day! Pronouuuuuuuns!
      - Wow, dude, beating dead horses? Try not to be so speciesist. ;)
      - It's almost like some people don't define everything they do by partisan politics.
      - The Lone Wanderer's mother, Catherine, is black, and so it is biologically impossible for her to be what we as a society typically consider to be white. Amanda is just as black as former President Obama. If you have a problem with the idea that half-black people are usually considered non-white, then join us in arms, our anti-racist comrade! :D
      - Aw no, not defending slavery. Shoot, you were doing so well. Why you gotta be racist against white people and insist they can't be slavers? We believe that people of all races have the capacity to any profession, including the evil ones!
      - Wastelanders won't know anything about an old American war? *stares at Fallout 4 intensely* *hears the patriotic tune of the national anthem while Preston makes you join the MINUTEMEN* lol you don't know Fallout lore
      - The Enclave are fascist. Fascism is bad. If you'd like to know more, consult Umberto Eco.
      - You are either naive or lying. Either one, you're lying and the review was not supposed to be short, because it isn't, or two, you're naive and actually meant to write something short but failed to contain yourself because you just got sooo mad while typing. Either way, it's funny. Fortunately for you, we love to type out long responses when righties like you get triggered by our mod reviews.
      - It was the Mothership Zeta one, wasn't it? lol Always is.

50 flapjillion/mud sandwich review, would heartily recommend. May we have another?

"It's always the Mothership Zeta one", what do you mean exactly? I came here to see about patching Mothership Zeta Crew for TTW and what it was all about, so this piques my interest.

Is there any particular problem or notable change with your Mothership Zeta patch(es) that arouse issues? As in, do they work well, or do they improve the story to stay consistent with Fallout? No offense, but it seems like you guys tend to go hard with the leftist stuff. That's fine, believe whatever, but if I play a mod that mentions fascism by name all the time, I feel inclined to skip over otherwise good stories. Nuanced political views in the post apocalypse (NV writing) is good, but I'm wondering if people tend to complain that your stuff sounds too much like a 2024 election campaign ad. (I'm not a big fan of modern American politicians)

Edit: bruh, I'm blocked from interacting

The Mothership Zeta comment was alluding to our review. On our YouTube channel, we've reviewed the Fallout games, DLCs, and mods. We mention the political bent of them as well in the reviews, and we talked about how Mothership Zeta is hated among fascists for its bias towards liberal humanism and why.

would a patch be possible to use for the enclave with facction reloaded follower?
the facction reloaded building is just under the stones inside fir the enclave, if it could be moved a little to one side it would be accessible.

We made this before collections were a thing, so it was not made with collections in mind. It's too big and complicated to retroactively squeeze into a collection. So even if we made it today, we'd likely not want to deal with those limitations.
    2. You could try breaking it down to multiple collection for specific sections like the ares mod section or dc who section, and general stuff.

You're right. You could definitely make it work in *some* fashion, but it wasn't an option when we made this, and we're not going to put the effort into retroactively trying to fit it within that framework.

Hey MMX I'm just gettint into TTW after about a year or 2 of FNV modding and, tbh, more than adding a very angery and long rant about you guys being left wing or really adding anything of substance as far as bug reports I just want to say your mods are easily some of my favorite mods to add and play. I can tell a lot of care went and even now still goes into adding things to Fallout that make sense in lore and also manage to be very good at making people feel seen. Also your humor is very witty and clever, I laughed my ass off in Paradiso at some parts.

More than anything just thx for the great mods and the patching insanity! I cant imagine it would be easy (or quick!)to put together this behemoth and you sharing it and how it was made is greatly appreciated

Whitewashing characters is much more racist than non-white characters being slavers. Very bad look. Big yikes.

Designing a video game where you bring slavery back to America but it's majority run by people of color is even more racist, and trying to fix that is good actually. Very bad look to be defending a corporation's racist caricatures. Yikes.

On the contrary, having the Slavers be majority people of color was likely done for an intentional purpose by the developers. The people of Post-War America don't know that slavery ever had a racial component to it. You might associate slavery with racism, but why would they?

We already explained that on the mod page.

"Post-apocalyptic slavery in America may not be exclusive to any race, but it is therefore downright racist for Bethesda to pretend that America's history of racism simply does not exist anymore. If so much of Pre-War culture can survive in robots, posters, propaganda, and just attitudes among survivors, then racism will too unless pruned."

Relatively big update. Added Vault-Tec Playing Cards patch. Updated Faction Disguises for FNV to fix a bug that prevented them from working. Reorganized patches in the files section of the mod page. And added a fomod that means you no longer have to download them individually!

Sometimes but usually only if we discover something we want to fix while playing. Then there's a sort of "well might as well upload it" mentality.

in case anyone reads this I wanted to warn you that the patch between eliza and awop does not work if you use the mod "A World Of Pain - Improving Exterior" which modifies the exterior of awop locations.

      basically the mod
      https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/70563
improves all the exteriors of the awop locations.
but the patch here moves the door to the right, but the inside of the Improving Exterior is still above the one in the eliza mod.
      I think that's a more complete explanation

Hey, i have a doubt respect the Merging guide.

    1) Most Merging tips say that the best is for merge small mods with no scripts because the mods break, but the guide merges whole quest mods. So, it is safe?

    2) Is there a distinction between Merging with ZMerge/Merge Plugin or FNVEdit? for what i understand, FNVEdit is the best way

This guide rocks. Even if i have some ideological differences (You look more like Anarco-Communist, and i am a Marxist Leninist) is good to see left-inclined and progressive content!

While scripts can be an issue, we wouldn't advise you to avoid merging mods just because they have scripts at all. We just advise staying away from merged heavily-scripted mods, because the odds of something going wrong is higher. You'll rarely ever want to merge mods with self-referential scripts like MCM plugins (Merge Plugins has an warning for that). Most quest mods have pretty simple scripts and can be safely merged with some precautions (like the voice files which is covered in another step), though it really depends on the quest mod in question. Basically, quest mods aren't inherently good or bad to merge.

We definitely recommend using Merge Plugins. The tool has always been reliable for us, and every other way we've done merging was much less reliable. So we just stick to what gives us good results.

      Glad you like the guide.

We made the guide as documentation to us modding our game that we play in our Cinemodded Fallout YouTube series. We made two versions. The 1st originally used TTW, whereas the 2nd replaces it with the Frontier. The Frontier one is more updated, and we leave notes as we play at the bottom. But it's not meant to be a living document, just a resource.
