Unrelated question but which mods are you using for AI combat? I have some installed and it says that it makes them use cover but half the time they stand 10 feet away. Your NPCs actually seem to use cover. And which mod is that Sprint from? Cool western mod!

      I'm using enhanced combat: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/58431
It definitely makes a huge difference. Enemies won't just randomly move around and will actually use cover. And sometimes, they will even run away when you're curbstomping them. Problem is that some AI combat mods make enemies "harder" to kill by making them more aggressive (which basically means that they charge you like retards). So far this mod makes them better.
Also highly recommend the "NPCs can miss mod". Stops them from aim-botting you like Jerry Miculek.

The Sprint is from "Solid Project", which adds a host of really neat and game changing features. Pretty sure it's down, so you'll have to get it from somewhere like r/Modpiracy. Just google it.

There are also the following mods to make your game feel more western:
Western Ambience Overhaul for the music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HD_79k0vFV4
The ghoul, the bad and the ugly for the VATS sound: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/62306
      Western UI Sound Overhaul: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/54693
      Gun Sound Mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/35429?tab=videos#lg=2&slide=9

It doesn't seem to be compatible with a great "all weapon sounds overhaul". I install it after that mod, but don't hear the ricochet sounds, unless i deactivate all weapon sounds overhaul esp. Is there a way to make the two work together?

Rather late reply, but I was having the same problem and figured it out. All Weapon Sounds Overhaul has it's own bullet whiz replacer in the esp that uses a different file location from vanilla. Deleting the record from the esp so that the bullet whiz sound effect uses the vanilla folder location fixes it.

What do you mean by "deleting the record from the esp"? Sorry for not understanding well but can you explain it in better detail?

You have to use xEdit to delete it

Ohhh, this is perfect with New Vegas bounties, old west UI sound overhaul, and the ghoul the bad and the ugly. Helped make my experience next to perfect perfect, so thank you for this!

Trying to load this with Fomm crashes Fomm, does it need to go in data?
