Good idea! Ownership rules often make no sense and it seems close to undoable to completely fix this, so better to just roleplay yourself instead of letting the game decide.
This mod will affect activators, terminals, armor, containers, doors, misc items, flora, furniture, weapons, ammo, keys, ingestibles, and notes. So to answer your question, probably.
i don't know if this count as a bug, the doors in prim houses and novac motel are labeled as red from the outside, you go inside, and the entire room is green, go outside, the door you recently visit become green, but other next doors is still labeled as red, if you like to update or not is up to you, i very satisfied at this current mod, thank you again for the work of my request.

So to answer your question, probably.
