The script that pops up a message every time is super annoying... is there a way you can remove this or make it different with different esp's? I had to disable it because of the message, i do a lot of new games to test things.
Ok, 2nd run at this post. I wanted to confirm something just to be certain: this mod acts a bit spooky -> I wanted to confirm no-download-but-still-discover behavior so I didn't download the markers, megaton was already discovered, marker was moved and worked but I could not discover the megaton home. I reloaded the same save used and got no dialog. I tried this several times thinking that an npc auto-interaction was causing the issue.
I removed the mod, tried to load the save (made before this mod was ever installed) and it complained about this mod missing. o.O My guess is a script runner lost its mind but that was coming up for quite a several saves (6) that hadn't been loaded but something went wacko and it persisted with several reloads. I don't know; I don't want to know; nuke it from orbit it's the only way to be sure.
Killed all the saves in that test series, new save, no issues. Try this mod again just to see what happens: this time (no download); I had not discovered megaton here and was able to get that and the player home this time but upon reloading the same save (where this mod was not installed): no download dialog appears asking about a download. Hey now, I've seen this movie...
No one else reporting this makes me thing it's got to be a one-off issue with some mod group or hierarchy issue (running 165+ atm) but they're all playing nice together so I've only got that to go on. This is mostly for anyone who, in the future, tries a reload, doesn't get the dialog, and comes here to see what the issue might be. My advice: drop to desktop, reload the game, then try again.
Will i still get the new markers if i decline the download? I dont want to have them all visible from the begining, atleast until i get the explorer perk
Seeing as you can update the mod two locations have their names switched. The "Hubris Comics Utility Tunnel" and the "Sewer Mainline" need their names swapped. Hopefully, you can update this fix soon as it's not adding any new content to the mod just fixing an error.
