- Fixed a bug where the quest-related lines would repeat forever once said - Added a bunch of new quest-related lines, idle lines, and questions. - Added the ability to tell Mike to use his Anti-Materiel Rifle instead of his Spear. This is toggleable through the Tactics dialogue.
Since the series is now over, unless there are any new bugs that arise, this might be the last update to the mod.
No, all the required mods are... required. Besides, this mod isn't being updated anymore, it was merged with the original mod back in April. Check the header in the description.
where...is...he... I've looked everywhere in and around novac, he isn't there. I have every required mod and ever add on in the game, he just isn't showing up.
I'm having an issue where i can't talk to Mike. When I try from the companion wheel it just briefly zooms in on him and doesn't do anything. As a result, I can't dismiss him, even through the companion dismissal terminals. Also, the original Zach and Mike are still in Novac.
I don't think I have any conflicting mods. I've troubleshooted a little bit and other companion mods work pretty well. The original mikeburnfire companions work fine so I don't know what could be causing it
I have new information for this bug. It appears to trigger via reputation with the legion. I have a save where I am "Liked" by the Legion, and can talk to Legion Mike, but when I then turn in 30 dog tags to the commander to raise my reputation to "Idolized" then I can't talk to him. I tested the following things.
1. Does have the Caesar's Favor Quest active effect it? No, I went and got the drop boxes both before and after turning the tags in. 2. Does dismissing Mike before turning the tags in help? No, he will have his recruitment dialog, but after you recruit him the wheel will stop working if you are at Idolized.
I have reason to believe there is some dialog in the mod that is related to having an "Idolized" reputation with the Legion that isn't triggering properly.
Also note that I raised my reputation via dog tags. As in I haven't even got to the strip yet, or met Caesar. I killed around 60 NCR troops and turned in the tags 30 at a time. It's possible that his dialog is tied to you being later in the main quest. (Maybe I have no clue how these things work I'm not a modder).
This is about all the information I could get about this bug. Turn in dog tags, reach Idolized, wheel stops working. I hope this is of some kind of help.
i have a problem with this mod. mike turns on me every time i attack an NcR location. and this happened multiple times, first time was when attacking the mojave outpost (he did this both times one time with disguise second time without) and another time when i only killed specialist zach
I'm having an issue where Mike's body is invisible. He's just a floating head, vest, and hands. Also when i try to talk to him after hiring him nothing happens it just zooms in and then zooms out. How can i fix this?
Do you have all the required master files? MikeBurnFire Companions, Courier Vests, and the DLCs? I can't replicate the bug you're having, I'm not sure what's causing it.
I've found a glitch where, after completing the monorail mission for the Legion, Mike keeps saying "Looks like the NCR isn't as powerful as they'd like to believe themselves to be" over and over again, although he never actually finishes the statement. He gets to the point where he says "believe" and just cuts out, before repeating it again.
I believe that I've found the cause of the bug and will be hopefully releasing an update that both fixes that and adds a bunch of new stuff, now that the series is over. Unfortunately, this update may somehow break the system that makes the NCR hostile while Mike isn't disguised, not sure what happened to it, but it broke in my build.
Edit: This bug has been fixed, and the faction system still works! Yay!
- Fixed a bug where Mike's hire option wouldn't appear. - Added a few quest reaction lines. - Added a few more extra lines, as well as a question about the Powder Gangers.
